Location, location, location, for trips, public transport to old town, 5 min walk to peninula and sea views with great sunsets and variety of restaurants in easy walking distance. All the staff at Hotel Perla were very helpful and gave excellent service.
Size of pillows (too big), but that was quickly resolved by the staff.

The shower! Small but powerful.
Friendly staff.
Small room for a twin room.
Did not like booking twin room but bed joined up together.
Basic kettle & tea + coffee weren’t included :((
Desk wasn’t cleaned properly.
Area is close to the beach and restaurants. Although old town is easy to reach by bus - bus ride can be super painful (so full!!)

Fabulous location away from the Old City crowds in an area on the Lapad promenade where you can walk, take dips in the Adriatic Sea, and dine at a few cafes scattered along the way. Bus stop is only a few blocks away and bus came every 15 minutes for Old Town. If you purchase the Dubrovnik Pass for the city wall walk it includes bus fare. Also, some great restaurants in walking range from hotel. Calmer here
No amenities such as shampoo, conditioner or lotion. TP holder was broken and housekeeping never bothered to fix it. Only one bath towel and hand towel available. When arrived, waiter from their restaurant was sitting in for reception and did not know much about checking us in. Later I came down to ask a question and there was no one at reception and I had to go into the restaurant and find someone to help me. Reception throughout seem to be their only to man the desk. Not that helpful. A basic bones property.

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, and our room was clean and comfortable with a lovely balcony. The area had plenty of restaurants within walking distance, and the bus to Dubrovnik Old Town was easy to catch from nearby. We also had a relaxing dinner at the hotel restaurant-good food and a peaceful atmosphere. A perfect spot to unwind while exploring Dubrovnik.

Lovely hotel with a nice local vibe. Loved the balcony. Comfy bed.

Good location, a short walk to the Sunset beach. Several restaurants located on the same walking street where the hotel is. Bus stop was near as well. Good beds, quiet hotel. Front desk Barbara was super nice, helping us with all the hints and transportation instructions. THE Super lady who was able to make reservation for fully booked resraurant. We had super nice sea view room with sunset balcony (3rd floor corner)

Location was excellent, sea view and balcony, discount to eat at the hotel. Helpful advice when needed.
Not allowed drinks or food in room which meant that we tended to be dehydrated in the hot weather. Tea facilities would have been good.

Restaurant downstairs had nice breakfast and dinner. Staff were friendly and courteous. Beach was beautiful and very close to hotel. The street outside is closed for vehicles so no traffic to contend with when walking to beach or one of the many restaurants along the street.
No tea or coffee making facilities in room. The address provided on Booking.com was incorrect and we had to do a google search to find correct location.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it easy to relax. What really stood out was the staff—everyone was very welcoming, polite, and always ready to help. The atmosphere felt warm and pleasant from the moment I arrived. A solid choice if you’re looking for a cozy and friendly place to stay. Would definitely consider coming back!

The room was fantastic with a balcony and a sea view. You could sit there and listen to live music in the nights. There is a park right opposite to the hotel. So, my 2 year old loved playing there. The beach is a minute away which was super convenient for evening swims. The hotel staff went out of their way to help me and my toddler. So, couldn't recommend more.
Nothing

Arrived lateish but in time for a meal at the properties restaurant (Agrora). Very nice and a welcome 10% reduction for guests (note - only if meal/dromks paid for in cash). The location was good - resort area of Lapad was pleasent. Journey in to Old City reasonable, bus stop close (though buses get crowded).
The breakfast was a little underwhelming - best option is to ask for an omelette.

The staff were friendly, courteous and very helpful. There is a restaurant on the ground floor and the food (and cocktails) there were lovely. Standard room, but we did have a balcony, which was nice, and the hotel is a short walk from the beach.
Nothing really.

Roomm was much bigger than expected, location is perfect for eating out and visiting all the local museums (including Dubrovnik), Breakfast was a buffet with plenty of choice.
Given that we all thought this was an excellent hotel in a great location, with very friendly and helpful staff, it is difficult to think of anything they could do better.

Superb location for beach (approx. 50m away) and many places to eat, nice cafes. Room was a double/twin with balcony that had partial sea view. Facilities in the room were good, always clean and presentable. Breakfast choice OK, but basic. Fruit, cheeses, meat, orange juice, croissants. Fried eggs and omelettes. If you prefer something more substantial and bigger choice, then you can go to a nearby cafe or restaurant. The breakfast was good for the price (included in the booking). Staff were brilliant. Very polite and happy. Particular mention to Barbara and Vid on the Reception desk. They were very helpful, happy and generous with their time and all my questions. The hotel is small with only 25 rooms and very quiet at night as it is located near a pedestrian only area. No vehicle noise at all. This was in Mid April. It may be slightly nosier in the Summer months. It's about 5 minutes walk to nearest bus (number 6) to go to Old Town. This takes about 20 minutes depending on traffic. Just be prepared for a lot of people trying to board with no queue system. Tickets are cheaper in the nearby kiosks.
It was all good.

fantastic location, many restaurants close by, sunset beach very close, no 6 bus every 10mins into the old town. The staff were excellent and very friendly. It was nice having the option to be away from the busy old town, would thoroughly recommend this location.
breakfast was poor, not very much choice, the eggs were all pre made , so pretty unappealing, pretty much the same offered everyday. after a few days we went else where and paid for breakfast as we couldn't face the offering every morning.

A cofee maker or water boiler in the room would be great

Fantastic staff and location. Rooms were adequate and clean. Can’t stress enough how wonderful the employees are. If you need anything at all, just ask. They will take good care of you. I was here to relax for a weekend ahead of a work trip but will certainly return for an extended, leisurely stay in the future.

Location, hosts, breakfest, room,..
I have booked the room at reduced price (more than 30%), however when it comes for payment it was not reduced than at regular price. It is not fair play by booking.com and the hotel, I am a second level genious user and I am dissapointed by such a policy.

The location was perfect, even it was about 45 minutes to the historic Center bij walk. The people were very friendly and the room was very good with a balcony and excellent view over the sea.

Fab location and hotel was lovely especially the resturant. The staff couldn't do more for you and were so helpful. Only issue was there was no kettle in the room (we bought a cheap one from the supermarket round the corner). The telly didn't work but that didn't matter to us. There wasn't an iron in the room but there was one at reception you could borrow.
We had a balcony which had stunning views, and were in a good location, and not too far from old town.
No kettle, iron and telly didn't work.
