We stayed here for several days and the proximity to the bus for travel into Old Town Dubrovnik was very easy. The room was beautiful and bed very comfortable. We had a beautiful view of the ocean from our 5th floor balcony. Restaurant called Piramida was just a short walk down the hill and was so delicious we ate there 4 times. Breakfast was beyond outstanding from made to order omelettes, fresh breads, fruits and delicious meats. So much variety! Lots for families from what we could see. Just an excellent experience all the way!

We had a very good experience. Got upgraded to a room with ocean view and it was fantastic. And the room even had a heating lamp above the sink so it’s warmer when you get out of the shower, smart! Staff were friendly and very fast check in and out! Breakfast was really good and you basically had everything there! There’s a bus stop nearby that takes you to old town in 15 min!

Nicely situated hotel outside of Old Town Dubrovnik. Many amenities. Only thing is if you have to go to bed before 10pm, request a room that isn’t over the main reception/and bar area since music is played and the bar closes at 11pm. Hotel has incredible breakfast options included.

Late check in went very smoothly. Amazing breakfast buffet, comfy beds no fitted sheets so the sheet went everything during the night. Also, screen in shower is too small and resulted into flooding half the bathroom. Lovely location on the water and quiet area, far from the bustle of old town Dubrovnik.

The property was located in an excellent area and bus no.6 is cross the street to take you to old town. The bus tickets could be purchased in the hotel and it was really easy and convenient to access the old town without a car. The dining options are excellent, breakfast was included and had excellent choices and options. Really impressed with the whole experience at Valamar Lacroma Hotel. We also had access to the beach in the sister hotel President and the service and staff was excellent throughout the property. Highly recommend this hotel. 10 out of 10 ratings.

Excellent modern hotel, lots of activities for kids - the Maro World centre is brilliant (games, trampolines, soft play, video games, Lego, etc) and the pool options are great. Breakfast buffet also excellent. Lots of food options round the hotel and neighbourhood. Easy access to Dubrovnik Old Town area via bus or taxi. (Get the Dubrovnik pass)

Towels were old and torn. Room was fine but beside housekeeping room. So every morning we were awakened by the noise of the housekeepers — they were talking loudly and dropping linen bags in spite of my DND sign

Staff seemed lovely but some were not very effective. The room was dirty, even after a few complaints, it wasn't fixed. They could so with an upgrade. The spa was brilliant, and I had the best Thai massage. The classes inntge gym which was one of the key reason I chose the hotel didn't happen, instructor didn't turn up and then said they wouldn't run. The pool was packed. Breakfast was delicious except for there being one drinks machine that you had to queue for For 10 minutes each time to get water or juice which spoiled it. I wouldn't stay here again, but I'm sure it would suit some people.

We stayed at a hotel that is impressively committed to sustainability and environmental responsibility, which I truly appreciate. The grounds were modern yet beautifully designed, with unique features and thoughtful touches throughout. That said, the room had a musty odor, and the air conditioning was limited to a minimum of 22°C (set between 24–22°C), which could be uncomfortable—especially for someone like me going through menopause. Our room faced the full sun during the day, so it did get quite warm when the A/C was off while we were out. One standout was the breakfast—truly one of the best I’ve ever had. There were countless options catering to a wide range of dietary needs, allergies, and preferences. It was thoughtfully curated and delicious. Another highlight was the Coral Beach Club nearby—an absolutely stunning and lively spot where we truly felt like VIPs. There’s no entry fee; you simply cover the cost of food and drinks, and they provide everything else—an incredible value. The hotel also seems like a wonderful place for families with young children, with plenty of activities to keep them engaged. Although I didn’t get the chance to try the spa, it looked like a serene and luxurious space worth exploring on a future visit.

Standard hotel room, needed to request a walk in shower instead of a bath/shower combo. The Buffet Dinning for Breakfast and Dinner provided great food. Wait staff would benifit with better training. Cleaning staff would definately need further training, and be on hand throughout the dining times. Some patrons were very messy and didnt care.

Our stay at Valamar Lacroma was delightful! We informed them we were on our honeymoon and they upgraded our room to a stunning Suite, such a thoughtful gesture! We especially loved every staff member we met, their service was top tier. We especially want to give a shout out to Dubravka and Hrvoje at the front desk who helped us with a very complicated issue and spent quite some time translating for us! We also got great recommendations and service from Dominik and Marin! Also have to mention breakfast, loved the selections! One side note, you do have to walk pretty far for the beach. We definitely wished that there was a more private beach option we could use with lounge chairs that you don't have to pay for.
