REQUESTING A REFUND!

Hard to like anything about this place when the manager treated us so poorly. We almost left after being violated by him barging into the room while we were undressed. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

WORST RENTAL EXPERIENCE. Property manager was dishonest, difficult to reach, barged into our room while we were undressed, accused us of being a problem, was extremely rude, yelled at me to sit down while talking down to me. Internet did not work, no toaster as described and water kettle was broken. NOT OK!

Lovely place and I feel very lucky to have come across it

The host was very kind and generous with his accommodations. The room was spacious and clean, easy access to old town from the bus, along with beautiful property with lovely outdoor seating area and garden. Lapad is nicely situated outside of the hustle and bustle of old town while also providing easy access to transport, beaches for swimming, and parks. If you’re looking to save some money the kitchen is great to make your own food via supplies from the easily accessible grocery stores. Thank you hosts for a wonderful stay! Your hospitality was greatly appreciated.

Great host. Made us feel very special

Host was wonderful. Went the extra mile to help us. We felt really well looked after. Our room was spacious. Huge bed. Excellent bathroom. Clean towels every day ( a real treat ) . If I could give it 11 out of 10 I would.

A great value stay in Dubrovnik

Conveniently located near a bus stop and a great value for Dubrovnik. The balcony in particular was beautiful. The host was also very kind and helpful.

Floors were dirty and one of the sheets had a blood stain.

The location was superb and the apartment was very airy and clean . But what really made difference was the host - he brings the place to life , right from the time you check in .

Perfect place to stay if you are travelling with family

Spacious rooms with kitchen, garden with chairs and a swing, lot of space for accompanying children to roam around. The owner Mirko is a very warm person and very hospitable - always willing to help. Nearest beach is a short walk from the property.

Miko and his wife could not be more welcoming. Amazing knowledge of the area, tips and tricks and always on hand if we needed anything. 50m from a bus stop that goes straight into The Old Town. 400m from the beach.

best hosts in Dubrovnik

The hosts are the friendliest people I met in my life. I got stung by a sea urchin and Mirko and his wife took the time to try to take care of my injury, drove me to the emergency room, and spent a significant amount of time trying to ensure I am okay. They brought fresh fruit to our apartment every day, gave us traditional fig rakia, and even gave us some home made cake. It’s by far the best place I’ve ever stayed at.

Relaxed - just what I needed to start my 3 month journey.

V&M were great and sooo nice! Such lovely ppl and always ready and available to help! The location is. 6/10min bus ride from the old town, but not a biggie if you’re not into the party scene. Beach close by and good eateries close by. Totally worth it!

The hospitality of the miro was really lovely..he knew his way around and got a lot of information about the area.. which was nice and very central to the beach and old town.. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this.. Also make sure to get up early for his wonderfull cooking skills

Amazing hosts, amazing apartment in a wonderful location.

We loved everything about Mirko & Veronika's place. it was clean, spacious, well-equipped, comfortable & in a great location for Lapad beach and trips to Dubrovnik old town (10-15 minutes by air conditioned, regular buses). Perfectly located too for easy access to the port at Gruz for ferries to the islands! most important was the amazingly warm welcome from Mirko & Veronika who fed us amazing breakfasts in the garden each day & couldn't have been more kind or helpful. Mirko had great local knowledge & his experience in the hotel industry & love for Croatia is really apparent. Absolutely fantastic.

The host was very kind and took time to explain us things to do in dubrovnik and how to access to beachs and old town. He offered us to keep the bagages so we could spend our last day at the beach. We liked the size of the room and the king size bed.
