Cosmopolitan House Dubrovnik

Great location in Lapad, lovely view from our balcony with the room having everything in that we required during our stay. The host milo couldn’t have been more attentive, from start to finish during our stay he gave us the best recommendations of what to do it the city. He gave us so much knowledge of the area and was very helpful at all times. The kindest host we have ever stayed with !!

Lot of stairs to get there by walking, but the view from the room was worth it.

The house was neat and well maintained, and the room was comfortable, with the added benefit of a balcony offering a lovely view. The location was also very convenient, as it was close to the conference venue I was attending, which was a great advantage for me.

Milo's wife was very rude, from the time I arrived, she did not even offer to assist with my bags, she stood there while I had to carry them all by myself and then said check-in is 2 pm so I have to wait, from before 11 am that I arrived. Despite them agreeing to an early check-in as I requested earlier. Although I didn't eventually wait till 2 pm, when Milo arrived, he helped take my bags to the room and I was checked-in. The next morning when I asked to use a microwave to warm some leftover food from my dinner the previous night for my breakfast, she was very rude again and told me they don't have a microwave. She made me feel unwelcome and very uncomfortable. MAYBE she does not like black people so be mindful if you're black (just my thought). Milo is nicer but he likes to talk and not listen, he does not pick calls and only respond to text messages several hours later.
