Very good location of the house...with close proximity to the bus stop....peaceful neighbourhood of lapad, if you dont want the hustle of the inner city.....we were greeted warmly by the host, he gave us good recommendations for restaurants in the city. We also had breakfast which was lovingly made and served. Can highly recommend for a stay in dubrovnik.

Amazing views with equally amazing host

I booked this property for two main reasons—the view and the hospitality of the owner, Milo—and both exceeded expectations. As a solo female traveler with a large suitcase, I was especially grateful for the airport transfer (€35). Milo was waiting right outside baggage claim, and from the moment we met I understood why everyone raves about him. His is like a warm hug and a natural storyteller. The sunset drive to the house, with Milo narrating along the way, was the perfect introduction to Croatia. After checking in, I was welcomed with a drink and cookies :) I stayed in the purple room, and the balcony view was exactly as pictured—absolutely breathtaking. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, the shower hot with strong water pressure, and the A/C cold. I especially loved the bedside lamps with soft lighting that made evenings feel cozy. Both mornings and nights were peaceful, allowing for restful sleep. The house sits on a hill, so expect plenty of steps, but the views make it worth it. The #10 bus stop to the Old City is only a 5–10 minute walk, as is the Lapad promenade with restaurants, beaches, and swimming spots. Milo made sure I was taken care of the entire time—giving me local tips, helping me plan transport, and even guiding me through a last-minute car rental. When I realized the next day, 100 km away, that I had left my winter coat in the closet (that I needed for future travels), Milo sent it on a bus to my next city saving me a 3 hour detour! It arrived without issue and I was blown away by his kindness and proactiveness in arranging this for me. Milo truly goes above and beyond for his guests. Staying here was one of the highlights of my trip. Please book this accommodation—you won’t regret it!

Lovely homely and friendly stay

Milo picked us up from the airport for a reasonable fee, waiting for us despite the delay and arriving late in the evening. Milo greeted us like an old friend and chatted away to us all the way to the apartment, telling us about the local area. In arrival,his wife prepared us cocktails which was lovely after a long trip. The apartment was homely and clean with lovely views out over Lapad The location is close to the water, only a few minutes walk to local bars in Lapad, including the Cave bar which we recommend. Though I will note the property is on a hillside and the steps back up are hard going, if you struggle with mobility. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Theres a nearby bus stop which was regular and ideal for travelling into the old town, but there are also many restaurants in the direct local vicinity. The location provided a quiet location with easy access to the centre. I understand Milo offers daytrips but we didnt get chance to take up this offer on our short stay. Milo provided transfer back to the airport, stopping at a viewpoint for us over Dubrovnik, and gifted us with a fridge magnet when we left Lovely stay, thanks Milo

Our stay was absolutely perfect

We had an absolutely wonderful stay with my friend – everything exceeded our expectations! Milo’s hospitality and customer service were truly outstanding and went above and beyond. The airport transfer was easy and convenient. The apartment’s location was perfect, close to the beach, shops and restaurants, and the view was simply breathtaking. Milo also shared great tips on how to make the most of our stay. We honestly can’t wait to come back, thank you so much for everything!

Great place for a short stay in Dubrovnik

Great value for money. Small clean room with an amazing view. The owner is very friendly, he provided us with the transfer from and to the airport for an additional charge, welcoming drinks, allowed us to borrow a beach umbrella. The room had all the essentials including toiletries, fridge, kettle, tea and coffee.

The internet speed leaves much to be desired. As for the location, the beach was nearby, but most of the way consisted of steps, which could be challenging, especially after spending hours under the sun.

Comfy and quiet area

Great location, close to restaurants and stores in Lapad but still in a quiet area. It's also walking distance to the beach. Air conditioning was helpful since it gets pretty hot in summer. The room was well equipped, the kettle and fridge were perfect for a quick breakfast or snack, they left tea and coffee which was very handy. Wifi internet worked perfectly fine during my whole stay. The host was super friendly and has a lot of good recommendations!

Decent room for a decent price, as for Dubrovnik

The owners are very friendly. And the room has a HUGE terrace with sunloungers. The room itself is quite cosy, you have everything that you need!

The parking space is uncomfortable, it is not convenient to use car on a daily basis. And there are too many locks an keys, in my humble opinion.

Room with a view!

Location location!! Room with a view, sat on that balcony morning and night, taking in the view. The host Melo was fabulous nothing was too much trouble gave us lots of ideas and recommendations.He provided us with a lift to the airport at a very reasonable price. The bus stop is close by and Melo will give you all the info what bus to catch etc, the old town is only a 10 min bus ride. 5 mins walk and you're at shops, bars, restaurants and stunning beach.Great walking trails too!

The best hospitality I have ever experienced, far better than any hotel and gave me a personal and authentic experience

The hosts were amazing, couldn’t be more welcoming and helpful gave me lots of information about the area and transport and places to eat. Milo drove me to and from the airport and provided a drink and snacks on arrival and departure and was always available to answer any questions and so friendly. Great location near the beach, restaurants and bus stops in a nice quiet area and a comfy room with a big terrace and lovely views.

Fabulous place and a very gracious host

The room: It has a lovely view from the balcony. It’s very well located to reach the old town by bus which runs every 10-15 minutes. The sunset beach is just 10 minutes walk+stairs (170 in total😅). Our Host: He welcomed us with warmth and offered us snacks and juice. Before leaving, he offered us a souvenir and was gracious enough to drop us to the airport at a very reasonable price.

The AC works like a turtle. Slow in cooling but cools well.

Excellant host, gave us all info that we required. The view from the balcony is excellent. Really good location, the bus station is 5 min walk and the promenade/beach is even closer.

Nothing specific that I didn’t like, only that the rooms were not really big, although perfect for a couple. But really good deal for the price you pay.

Cosy Room with a beautiful view

Very nicely located close to the beach. The room was very clean and cosy decorated. The owner Milo actually welcomed us with drinks and a little snack and offered us a lot of information about the city, bus transfers, nice places for dinner etc. All over a nice place to stay for a couple nights.

We loved Cosmopolitan House! You can’t find a better host, so humble & helpful. He made us fel like home. The view is absolutely amazing. Close to the beach & resturants around Lapad/Babin Kuk. We would definitly recommend everyone to visit this cozy place.

Exceptional

Everything was Perfect you can easily walk to the old town in about over 30mins. Royal beach with amazing sunsets is just next to it. Plenty of restaurants in proximity of a 5 min walk. Beautiful views from bakconyt. And especially the hosts hospitality. I got so much useful information and so many stories to talk about. Couldn't recommend enough.

It was a nice small room, the host was absolutely wonderful and we were welcomed with a cocktail! But we felt it was a bit overpriced for what it was. But maybe this is just Dubrovnik! Otherwise no complaints!

Verten Milo var veldig hyggelig og behjelpelig, gode tips om alt fra restauranter til hva vi burde få med oss. Topp service! Bestilte også transport av han til og fra flyplass, en god del billigere enn taxi. Anbefaler henting på flyplass, spesielt med kofferter da det er en del trapper fra hovedgata opp til hotellet. Med henting blir man kjørt til døra. Veldig fin beliggenhet, bare noen trapper ned så er man midt i gågate med mange restauranter, barer og kafeer. Bestilte rom med sjøutsikt, og utsikten var helt fantastisk!

Milo è stato un host fantastico, ci ha fornito spiegazioni e spunti interessanti per il nostro soggiorno a Dubrovnik. La sua disponibilità e cortesia valgono molto. Le dimensioni della camera e soprattutto del bagno sono un po' ridotte, ma abbiamo utilizzato gli spazi solo per dormire e riposare quindi non ci è sembrato un grave problema, passando il resto delle giornate all'esterno.

Très bon emplacement

L emplacement malgré les 106 marches a monter. La vue de la terrasse, l accueil avec un cocktail et des petits gâteaux, la taille de la chambre. Milo, le propriétaire est tres soucieux du bien etre de ses hôtes. Il organise également des transferts aéroports.

A savoir, il faut monter 106 marches quand vous êtes a pied pour rejoindre la maison. Une bonne santé s impose ! Mais sinon très bon séjour.
