It was pretty average overall.

The balcony was nice, and it was a good location.

Wifi was pretty bad, the bathroom was small and had exposed electrical wires with just insulation tape around them.

bathroom and room itself was full of worms. the bathroom door is damaged by water, it doesn't lock and has a gap about 1,5cm. the sea is not visible from the windows, free parking is full and nowhere to park a car, no balcony .the staff response about the worms was slow and unhelpful.

Beautiful, Clean Apartment with a Great View

This apartment was beautiful and very clean. The beds were comfortable, and the balcony was large with a great view of Lapad. The check-in instructions were sent in a document with pictures, which made the whole process really easy. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We knew about the steps from reading other reviews before our stay, and we were okay with this but I think it's important for everyone to be aware of just how high up it is, there are a lot of steps!! It is worth it for the fabulous view, though, if you can manage the steps!

Affordable alternative

- The view - The jacuzzi - Air conditioning - Communication with the host - Easy check in and check out - Bathroom and kitchen had just enough of stuff one would need - The room is quite cozy - Clean towels available all the time - Good bus connections near by - Peaceful location - Wifi worked okay

- The bed is way too soft - I would've needed instructions for the jacuzzi and the coffee machine for sure :) - The jacuzzi was not in use until the evening of our second day, because apparently they were having some problems with it. We only knew about this when we arrived. - Dull knives: difficult to slice your fruit :) - The water kettle needs to be properly washed or maybe even replaced! When you boil water with it, you can see some dirt floating in the water, no matter how many times you replace the water and reboil it :S - The light outdoors in front of the main door had a motion detector which was adjusted way too sensitive! It kept going on and off all through the night.

When you get used to all the stairs, location of the apartment is great - 10min to bus stop, 10-15min to the beach. Rada was amazing - she was nice and really taking care of us. She was kind enough to store our luggage when later check-out was not possible.

Unfortunately, we firstly received only the code to lockbox - no further instructions. Later, after asking the pdf was shared. The instructions were quite straight but the pdf had different name of the apartment, than the name displayed in it - a real surprise finding out that someone is in (as we assumed) our apartment after delayed flight. We did not expect 24/7 service and support of course, but when reaching the only contact, there was no response after 10pm even though we informed the property.

Disappointing

AC worked well, hosts were nice.

Sound proofing is nonexistent, can hear everything happening around you. Bed was very hard and the pillows too big. The "free parking" is few spots down the road taken up by locals.

A very nice apartment. The location is very pleasant. Close to the shop, beach and bus stop. Many playgrounds for children. Clean surroundings. Very easy instructions to find a room. Great contact with the host.

I am still dreaming of the grape wines and swimming spots along Lapad bay!

Grape vines heavy with ripened fruit just outside my studio apartment window made for a wonderful view each morning and lush calm each evening when I returned from my daily "touristing". The warm hearted landlady plucked fresh grapes off the vines as welcome and farewell gifts for me, and even once knocked on my door to offer me a plate of homemade sweet crepes when she noticed that I was in the studio - all little touches that made my time there feel more homely. The proximity to supermarkets (for groceries which allowed me to make sandwiches and salads in the studio instead of eating out all the time) and the bay (with stunning hidden swimming spots full of locals enjoying the sunshine and dips in the water) plus the ease of catching the local bus to and fro Old Town made me feel just a little more like a local and forget about how far I was from home.

I had access to a hot tub however it was located on a shared terrace that was also part of the main entrance and therefore had no guaranteed total privacy although the hot tub was partially shielded by dividers - ie, if people entered or left the building, or were sitting at the chairs also available on the terrace, they would be able to see you if you were in the hot tub. I don't think this is a big issue but I think others may like to know this before booking the same studio apartment as I had booked. I did not use the hot tub in the end as I did not have the time.

Lovely apartment with great views

I really enjoyed my stay at the apartment and it was the perfect base for me as I explored Dubrovnik and surrounds. The room was a good size, the kitchen had plenty of amenities and the view from the terrace was great. I received instructions on how to find the place before my visit and was sent the code to the key box as soon as the apartment was ready, which was earlier than I expected. The host left a change of towels outside halfway through my stay, which was nice. The location suited me well - easy to get into the Old Town but away from the crowds of the centre, close to bars and restaurants at Sunset Beach and a short bus journey away from the new port for day trips to islands. I'd recommend this apartment.

The wifi coverage was a little patchy. When I was connected it was great but my phone couldn't always pick it up. I found the buses confusing at first and Google maps didn't have the bus info - it would be handy for the host to share which bus to get to reach the apartment (it's the number 6 from Pile Gate to Babin Kuk - get off at Posta Lapad). Others have pointed out there are a lot stairs (there are), but there are a lot of stairs in the whole city!

The smell of mold coming from the bathroom was quite awful which filled the whole apartment. The smell stuck to our clothes/makeups etc which is not nice. Also the bed and the pillows were bad and gave us bad backaches, a sore neck and headaches

Amazing Apartment

Proximity to Lapad Beach. Thoughtfulness of the owner by dropping off clean towels and toilet paper mid-way through our stay. Comfortable bed! Close to public transport.

The service is great, there is a beautiful terrace with a great view and the owner is friendly. The supermarket, the bus station and the beaches in Lapad bay are easy to reach, just a quick walk down hill.

Coming from a place that is mostly flat, the walk uphill can be a bit tiresome at the end of the day.

Fantastic

The hotel was brilliant from the moment I booked. They sent a really good welcome message with lots of details and recommendations for the city. They organised an airport transfer at low cost. I sent a message asking them to write a little happy birthday message on the bed for my girlfriend- and the lovely lady Rage (the owner) made a beautiful birthday cake, a bottle of local liquor and a happy birthday banner over the bed, all complimentary! Truly an amazing effort and couldn’t thank her more! A beautiful family run business in a perfect location and great staff. Couldn’t recommend this more and amazing value for money.

Superb

Lovely balcony looking out over the sea, plenty of space in the apartment. Breakfast in a bag was huge & delivered every morning between 8 & 9am. A couple of beaches are walkable (we liked Copacabana). Easy access to an area of restaurants close by. Friendly family hosts. Number 6 bus takes you straight to the old town.

The down side of such lovely views of the sea is the number of steps to get down to the beach! We needed the exercise - but less mobile people may struggle.

Super schoon, mooi appartement! De host is super vriendelijk en de check-in gaat vlekkeloos. Echt een top service!! De bedden liggen heerlijk en het uitzicht vanaf het balkon is prachtig. Tip: neem een uber naar Old Town Dubrovnik! Kost je maar €9,- enkel en véééle malen goedkoper dan rijden. Het is er enorm druk en parkeren gaat niet rondom Old Town. Er komen regelmatig schattige katten op je balkon haha!

Let op: het strand is kortbij maar wel alleen bereikbaar via heel veel trappen (of je moet heeeelemaal omlopen). Handig om te weten voor mensen die wat lastiger ter been zijn. Je kunt ook met de auto, parkeren bij Sunset Beach is wel makkelijk.

Apartamento muito pequeno, sem espaço para apoiar as malas. Pouca luz natural. A janela dá de frente para uma parede. O acesso até a praia e restaurantes se dá por escadas...mais de 250 degraus( e no site consta 150m da praia, não menciona o desnível). Estávamos de carro e foi difícil na chegada sem lugar para descarregar a bagagem...foi tudo bem tumultuado. Por fim, encontramos uma vaga para estacionar o carro na rua, um pouco mais abaixo da propriedade.

La vista

L’umidità nella camera, le lenzuola orrende, corte e quasi bagnate dall’umidità, senza copri materasso. Le formiche ovunque sul terrazzo. I gatti che entravano appena lasciavi un secondo la porta aperta. Le sdraio piene di peli di gatto. Le camere tutte attaccate e si sentivano in continuazione le porte delle camere accanto sbattere. Il bagno piccolissimo e umidissimo. Cuscini e materasso scadenti. Rapporto qualità prezzo 👎🏻
