It was a nice experience!

The apartment was exactly as described on the website — clean and with everything needed. Shops, restaurants, and beaches are just a few minutes’ walk away. The area is very nice and green. The manager, Ivo, was very helpful — he replied quickly to all messages, arranged an airport transfer, and gave clear information about the city. The rooftop pool is a great feature. Unfortunately, we couldn’t use it because it’s not heated, and in October, the water was too cold. But the view from the pool is amazing. Some people were still swimming in the sea, though. The only downside is that there’s no breakfast, but there’s a small kitchen in the room with everything you need, and lots of restaurants nearby. Please note: the tourist tax is not included in the room price — it has to be paid in cash on arrival, so make sure to check this with the manager and bring some euros. Other than that, you can pay by card everywhere with no problems.

I would recommend including the tourist tax in the total room price to avoid the need for cash payment, or at least allowing guests to pay it by card on site.

Had a wonderful time at Villa Antea. The facilities were clean and well kept, the views from the pool were beautiful. Ivo was a great host and very helpful, giving us advice on the best places to visit and best restaurants. Thank you Villa Antea!

There is nothing we did not enjoy about our stay. The only one thing I can say is that is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues due to the steep walk back to the villa from the restaurants.

Perfect in every way!

The property was perfect! It was comfortable and modern… with a beautiful view from the balcony. The location was perfect… only a 10/15 minute walk to the local beaches and the main part of Lapad. The number 6 bus into Dubrovnik is a two minute walk away which runs regularly. The apartment owner was extremely friendly and gave us lots of information about the area! He even gave us some delicious brandy to try! Thank you again for an incredible stay x

Everything was amazing The rooms were very clean And they clean them everyday and change towels and bed sheets everyday The pool is fascinating and clean The owner is so kind and helpful and available all the Thank u ivo for everything The location is nice too close to supermarket and pharmacy And the old town is 8-10 minutes with an uber Highly recommended!

Beautifully clean and handy for beaches and sightseeing.

We stayed in a studio apartment which although quite small was very well equipped with lots of nice touches that made for a comfortable stay. The bed was large and comfy, we both slept well, the air conditioning was good, nice bathroom with space to put your toiletries, plenty of hot water and kept scrupulously clean by the very friendly lady who cleaned and supplied extra towels, toilet rolls etc. There was a large wardrobe with lots of hangers, places to store suitcases, handy mirrors and a large dining table. It’s amazing what was fitted into the limited space without it being overcrowded. I particularly liked the fact that there were good sharp knives in the kitchen area and a good amount of cooking equipment. Although it was tricky to fit the large saucepan and frying pan on the hob at the same time. The infinity pool at the top is lovely. Perfect to cool off in after a day sightseeing in the old town and the sunsets are amazing. There are beautiful views from up there and we had a lovely view from our upstairs terrace too. It’s also helpful that a washing line and pegs are provided for each apartment. Little touches like that make a big difference and you can tell the owner has put a lot of thought into Villa Antea. Although the pool is quite small there are lots of sun-loungers around it and there was never a problem getting one. Ivo was really helpful with advice about the area and was always ready to answer queries via WhatsApp. The welcome drinks were very much appreciated. There are a number of lovely beaches within a short walk away and quite a few reasonably priced places to eat. We liked Copacabana beach and the small public beach near the Valamar Hotel beach. The snorkelling is great on all the beaches and the shingle is not too uncomfortable to lie on. We managed ok with just our beach towels. The best restaurant we found was the Trinity Fusion near the Tommy supermarket. You get loads and it’s not too pricey. About 15 euros for a main Thai meal.

Nothing really. A bit of traffic noise from the road but you can’t hear it in the rooms or if your terrace is further down. We didn’t find it an issue.

4 days in Dubrovnik

Great location easily reached by local buses. Ivo was very helpful before we arrived and gave a very warm welcome. Fab views from the lovely pool where you could take up your own drinks and snacks. Pool towels available at very reasonable cost (2 euros) if required. All facilities exceptionally clean.

Our mistake on booking, but Room 2 does not have a kitchenette, but does have crockery, cutlery, glasses, and mugs, plus fridge, kettle, and sandwich maker. There is a new apartment block being constructed which will block the view to the bridge and port slightly, but it was not overly noisy.

Great apartment in a great location

Excellent location, within a short walk to the main restaurant strip and beaches. The bus stop is 100m away and takes you straight to the Old Town. The room was comfortable, clean and Ivo is a great host! 100% recommend 👌

Lovely pool! 10 mins via bus to Old Town.

Clean accommodation. Rooftop infinity pool was lovely! Very close to bus route direct to Old Town - frequent buses run but they get VERY busy!! Bed very soft. We were allowed to use the pool / shower all day after check out as we had a late flight.

No parking was available as had been advertised. Cars were parked over 2 bays so we had to leave our car on a grass verge away from the property until space became available.

A beautiful villa

- Beautiful view from the pool - Position okay: by bus no.6 to the old city and 10 minutes; 10 minutes to Lapad walking path full of restaurants and bars and to Sunset Beach; 15 minutes walking on the other direction to Copacabana Beach. - Ivo's welcoming: a very kind person, good communication & availability

Maybe the flat can have more tools & useful devices for a longer stay, like a washing machine; a moka for the coffee; a clothes drying rack; a meat spatula; and a stronger hot water pressure from the sink. Anyway, we had a good experience and we found alternative solutions for these things missing.

Great place, great city, great host!

Superb, clean and conveniently located. Apartments have everything you need for a comfortable stay, the pool terrace is great. Bus stop just over the road with buses every ten minutes direct to the old town for just €2.50 and supermarket 5 minutes away stocking everything you need including fresh coffee and bakery. Ivo is a star! Always on hand, picked us up from the airport, great communication - fantastic host. Taught us a bit of the language and the drinks were a lovely touch on arrival. I highly recommend this property.

Amazing stay

The apartments were very nice and clean. Staff was so friendly and accommodating, and Ivo or the host was amazing from the moment we arrived. He collected us from the airport and gave us shots of drink when we arrived. He explained what was nearby and what we should do. He also arranged to bring us to the airport. The pool was lovely with great views, and the apartments are in a great location. Would definitely recommend this place. The price we paid for the place was very reasonable as well.

Great family apartment

The pool and view were stunning! Quiet area, shop and bus into town 400m away which was perfect. Beaches also walking distance. The owner was so friendly accommodating which made the stay very comfortable, would definitely recommend.

Amazing place, would recommend to anyone!

Fantastic location- we walked into the old town a couple of times took us approx 1 hour each way. When it was too hot we took the bus which is a 1 minute walk to catch infront of the apartment. Ivo the owner was friendly and helpful, he organised and booked two trips that we took. The pool is handy on hot days, and would recommend watching the sunset up there on the terrace as t's beautiful. If anyone wants a gym there is on close by approx 5- 10 minute walk- saiyan gym great clean friendly gym!! This was a fantastic holiday and the room was a perfect base for us, we used our terrace daily for breakfast and lunches and the facilities in the apartment were just what we needed. Would 100% recommend to anyone.

Although not in the old town bus service was excellent and ran every 10 minutes.

The views from the rooftop pool were stunning. Short walk to the No 6 Bus Stop that took you into the Old Town. Ivo who ran the place was very friendly and informative. He even helped me get my hire car fixed which had a puncture. Not that you really need a car in Dubrovnik.

Bathroom was nice ( we stayed in No 12 ) Kitchen area basic but adequate.

Best location with a great host

Best place to stay in Dubrovnik! It is in a quite area with easy access to several beaches en a nearby busstop to the city centre. Besides the nice appartment and great location (with wonderful sea view) the absolute highlight is the host Ivo. Any questions I had, he was always quick to respond. Even gave is a ride back to the airport.

The location was excellent with the number 6 bus to old town close by and local super market down the road. The room and balcony was lovely. Nice and clean bathroom and bedroom. We loved the roof top pool and would definitely recommend it to everyone.

Location close to supermarket, warm welcome, plenty of parking, nice balcony, good air-conditioning, quiet. Great size apartment- really good choice ofTV channels. Walking distance to restaurants, near bus stop.

Pool was small. 5 people but only 4x glasses etc. Sofa bed not the most comfortable.

Nice room with huge bed and balcony. Very friendly and helpful staff, particularly regarding the shuttle from/to the airport.

The water kettle was a bit calcified, but still good to have one. Besides, it was hard to shower without making the whole bathroom floor wet.

Great stay with group of friends or family because you can spend time together by the pool with great views and have lot of private space after in you rooms.

Would be nice to have chest of drawers or something similar to unpack all clothes, because there was just hangers in our room.

Great hotel and very kind staff!

The family that runs the hotels was so sweet and helpful! The property is very clean and they have a pool on the roof with great views of the ocean and nearby bridge!

The hotel was a bit far from the center of town, but there is a bus very conveniently located that will take you anywhere you need to go!

Very nice and quiet apartment with a terrace. Romantic pool on the roof overlooking the surroundings. Perfect and very helpful staff.

The apartments are in the middle of the peninsula and you have to walk along busy roads to get to the beaches.

Loved everything.

Fantastic to have pool - albeit a small one. The large balcony with amazing views were an added extra we weren't expecting. The host was really friendly and helpful. The location was great - outside the old town but in lovely countryside short walk to the coast and a regular bus service into town. Ideal. Woudl totally recommend.
