Small and cute

The hotel is small, cute. The rooms are a bit smaller, clean and well equipped. We had a balcony. The breakfast was delicious. The location is good. The staff is friendly.

They have a small parking lot. Fortunately, there is free parking nearby. I don't know how it is in season, though.

Amazing find in Grado!

Everything! This was just a fabulous stay, the staff were very friendly and didn't mind at all I was late to check in after their hours. The bed was so comfy, the room was super clean and even had a balcony with a sea view which we weren't expecting. The breakfast was also one of the best I've had, the coffee was seriously amazing, I felt bad that I had 3 as they were delicious! We were able to leave our bikes overnight in their storage area. The shower was also great, very hot and great water pressure. The hotel was very central, a few minutes by foot to the beaches, shops and restaurants. There are plenty of hooks and space to hang clothes and in the hotel itself is a small bar and a lovely quiet yard to sit and enjoy a drink.

Everything was exceptional, and we will be back again for sure!

Friendly staff, comfortable room with balcony and enought space to live with two kids, perfect quality of room cleaning, possible to ask for a fridge, kids playcorner on the ground floor. 2 minutes walk from the bus stop to Grado city center or free beach (there is a free bus to beach on dayoffs during summer season), 10 minutes walk to free beach. Close to Tennis club Grado (20 euros for 1 hour on clay court). Spar supermarket is 7 minutes walk. Good quality of breakfast.

No hook on bathroom door and no shelf for shampoo in the shower cabin.

It's located near the beach and just a short walk from the city centre. The staff is also exceptionally helpful and friendly.

The walls are quite thin, so depending on who you are neighbouring, prepare for noise. The rooms are also small, but considering the pricing that is to be expected.

the breakfast and the staff, room was cleaned everyday. very friendly staff.

the room was small, situated on the first floor, where the cleaning utensils room is, very loud first thing in the morning.old fashioned , the walls were thin you could hear everything even the next door guest going to toilet. , the mattress was hard. Do not take rooms number one , two or three. these are beside the cleaning room and general toilet.

Bikes free of charge

Hotel is very good. Breakfast was really nice and tasty. Room is small, but very clean. Free bikes were above our expectation and excellente suggastion of hotel staff. Value for money is fantastic.

Ideal place to stay for a trip to Grado

Very nice staff, comfortable room and quite close to the center.

Parking facilities are not ideal: very narrow and not so many places. Not so god coffee and even if the breakfast food quality was very good (particularly the salami) it was a little bit annoying that you can’t take by yourself.

The breakfast was great, they had everything!! And the staff super nice, location is also on point

You can hear everything that is going on outside your room. I was there for my honeymoon and we did not enjoy much our stay becausewe were able to hear just people coming upstairs, kids, people walking, etc.

Good location with hard compromises

The location of the hotel is quite good, it's easy to find by car, the beach is close. Air condition works really effective and well, the size of the balcony is comfortable.

Sound insulation was very poor. The room was lack of soundproofing, we could hear everything what other guests did. The bathroom of the room was like a wardrobe. The breakfast was not wide range of variety.

Quiet, convenient location, simple and comfortable rooms, super-friendly staff

We were looking for a short stay (2 nights) in Grado at the end of our Alpe-Adria bike tour and we were lucky to find a room available at Hotel Merano. Super friendly and professional staff, clean and spacious room (with had our own balcony), excellent breakfast (including musli and cold cuts!! and good bread). Room design is updated and there is a nice lobby with a TV where we watched the Euro finals (Italy won!). We highly recommend it as a place to stay in Grado.
