Canowindra is in a good distance from Portree, and in peaceful surroundings. After a good and long day of walking the bathtub was just perfect. Breakfast was also just incredibly delicious. So - a really big recommendation of this place.

Beautiful and cozy place. Located just by the river, very short drive to town center. The owners are very nice, friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! After waking up the first morning, I immediately thought, I'm so glad I get to sleep in this bed another night. Everything was top notch - great breakfast, friendly staff, safe location, and super clean and comfy accommodations. I'd definitely recommend!

This was the best property in our trip in whole of Scotland (which included the main cities).
The rooms are exceedingly well appointed, each with its own particular decoration and charm, and very spacious.
The hosts were supper attentive and helpful, the breakfast was superb, served a la carte.
It is well located, 5 mins outside the village of Portree, in an excellent location from which to explore the whole Isle of Skye.
It is relatively expensive if compared to other b&bs, but worth every penny.
