It was fabulous, large space and super comfortable- amazing nights sleep in comfortable bed and fabulous hot shower. Quiet as remote, but only 20mins drive to great local pub ‘The Old Inn’

No milk at all for cup of tea. Washing machine would be ideal too.

The location was peaceful and beautiful. The room was well decorated and comfortable - many lovely and thoughtful touches. The breakfast was just right. Everything felt very authentic.

Might have enjoyed a bathtub and the internet was quite weak, but those were minor in the scheme of things.

We knew it from a trip some years ago when it was a hotel. It’s the same beautiful location and furnishings.

We didn’t realize from the description that this isn’t a hotel anymore, and unfortunately only realized this after reserving, when I got the message that there’s no restaurant, etc. They only offer non-refundable bookings so you’re out of luck by the time you make the reservation and get this message. We arrived and there’s no reception. We wandered around until we found the name of the room we were supposed to stay in because there’s no one to ask questions about where to go. It’s very far from any restaurant so we had to get snacks from a food truck up the road. Their check-in time is 5pm which is much later than other places. Some other reviewers mentioned that the hosts are nice, but I didn’t see anyone the whole time I was there. There was a tray with croissants, a boiled egg and juice at breakfast (I didn’t see any cheese as mentioned in the description.) If you’re expecting an air b&b experience, this is a lovely place for that. It’s just not what I was looking for and I wish I’d realized it up front before booking.
