Had an excellent stay at Ullinish House, it was a continental breakfast which was served in a lovely breakfast room. It's a self check-in B & B, so I was glad to have received all the emails with everything I needed to find the house and my room. It was also great to receive all the extra information on where to eat, and booking restaurants before we arrived. Very comfy king bed and great coffee in the morning. The room was even nicer than the pictures, really nice design.
The lounge room was also great to relax after being out in the elements! Would definitely go back!

The property is exceptionally good in many regards. The location is awesome. The property is really nicely furnished, the beds are very comfortable, and there is lots of decoration/details which make it feel very cozy. The breakfast is also great!

We knew it from a trip some years ago when it was a hotel. It’s the same beautiful location and furnishings.
We didn’t realize from the description that this isn’t a hotel anymore, and unfortunately only realized this after reserving, when I got the message that there’s no restaurant, etc. They only offer non-refundable bookings so you’re out of luck by the time you make the reservation and get this message. We arrived and there’s no reception. We wandered around until we found the name of the room we were supposed to stay in because there’s no one to ask questions about where to go. It’s very far from any restaurant so we had to get snacks from a food truck up the road. Their check-in time is 5pm which is much later than other places.
Some other reviewers mentioned that the hosts are nice, but I didn’t see anyone the whole time I was there. There was a tray with croissants, a boiled egg and juice at breakfast (I didn’t see any cheese as mentioned in the description.)
If you’re expecting an air b&b experience, this is a lovely place for that. It’s just not what I was looking for and I wish I’d realized it up front before booking.
