Surroundings for the soul

Beautiful, serene gardens, with a well-appointed cottage. Food & service were top-notch, and the access to Monet’s garden was heavenly.

The property is within beautiful grounds. The room was simple but spotless and comfortable. The bed was excellent. The owner and his staff were very helpful and welcoming.

Perfect location but needs TLC

Positives were the location and the grounds which were stunning. The staff did their best as well. Location wise it was excellent

The cottage felt unloved. The staff had to change the dining chairs as we arrived as they were broken as was the coffee machine. The microwave was encrusted with old food and the second bedroom had no door. It just felt uncared for and certainly not reflective of the price point. We also found there were few implements- 2 knives no bread knife etc.

Bed and breakfast - with no breakfast.

The property itself was lovely, and well located to visit Monet's garden.

No communication with management. A cleaner was sent to let us in. We stayed in the separate 2 bedroom cottage. No-one helped us with luggage. No details for breakfast were communicated, no advice given on local eateries and their opening times. No wardrobes, no toilet roll holder, no tissues, no instructions given on how to operate heater, dishwasher, etc. No aircon. We were never able to find anyone at reception. All doors to the main building were always locked. We were unable to find any breakfast being served, so ended up walking up the street and finding our own.

We didn't stay for the breakfast, but the dining room looked so lovely and inviting. The property itself is beautiful - so peaceful and luscious with the trees and flowers blooming. Our room was just as described, and seen in the pictures! So spacious, clean, and the shower was the best! The upstairs bedroom made it feel like we were going into a treehouse for the night. We loved how close the property was to Monet's house. We woke up to birds singing and couldn't help thinking that Monet heard the "same" birds when he lived there 100 years ago!

Great location in Giverny. Very nice breakfast delivered to the door in a cute insulated picnic basket. Parking a real plus in village where this can be difficult

The one drawback the room was physically attached but separate to the main building which gave a sense of isolation. Of course you may think this is an advantage!

Lovely spot but a few things need repair

Location is perfect for Monet's gardens, the building is beautiful, as is the view over the grounds. The bed was large and comfortable

It was a lovely location but for the price I expected a higher standard. The kitchen tap was broken, there were tiles missing in the shower as well as mould in the corner, the toilet seat was breaking up and there was no toilet roll holder. The WiFi signal was very poor. The curtains over the glazed front door don't meet. Bit disappointing really.

Beautiful country escape

Original, simple and very beautiful. So calm and relaxing, perfect location for Giverny. A lovely stay.

Seemed to be only one person working there who was doing everything: reception, food and drink service, taking people to rooms, etc. So when we needed something it was hard to find anyone and service was a bit slow. Otherwise, the person working there was friendly and helpful when we could find her.

Все было чудесно! Большая, очень красивая, ухоженная территория с прудом, кувшинками, самшитами и парижскими стульями. Можно выбрать место с видом на красивый сад или отреставрированную виллу XIII века, посидеть в тишине и насладиться моментом. Мы жили в отдельностоящем доме. Внутри всё так же уютно и красиво оформлено. Натуральный лен, джут, мягкие, природные цвета и изысканные детали интерьера. Шторы на окнах blackout, функциональная, очень удобная кухня из металла и дерева. Красивая посуда. Все мелочи продуманы и создают уютную атмосферу. Если вы не хотите готовить сами, можно посетить шикарный ресторан и поужинать при свечах. Все в этом месте прекрасно. Но самое важное всегда и везде- это люди! Владельцы старинного особняка живут в этом же месте и рады помочь с любыми вопросами. Это был замечательный отдых. Спасибо, будем рады вернуться❤️

Het mocht wat schoner en beter afgewerkt zijn. Net de details als twee pluggen in de muur waar de toiletrolhouder zou moeten zitten, en een scheef hangende koelkastdeur passen niet in dit huisje. Ook zou ik het dakraam beter in orde maken en dan meteen met een muggenhor.

Malgré l’emplacement idéal et l’équipement idéal nous avons été déçues. Nous avons séjourné 3 fois dans votre établissement en famille et le recommandons à tous nos amis. L’accueil n’a pas été agréable et vous n’avez pas expliqué comment ouvrir la porte avec la clé. Il n’y avait pas de verre de cidre à l’arrivée comme avant, ni de brunch le matin. Le peux du petit déjeuner était simplement scandaleux pour des croissants, du pain, un petit peu de beurre et quelques morceaux de raisins et de fraises.
