Great stay in Mettlach

Very charming house, our room under the roof was spacious and cozy, nicely decorated in an old-fashioned style. The owner of the house is very friendly and accommodating. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom has everything you need. We particularly enjoyed the location of Mettlach and its proximity to some really stupendous estates of the Villeroy & Boch company and family. The Saar river is also a definite plus. I definitely recommend.

Summer weekends can be noisy if your room gives onto the main street. Parking in Mettlach can be problematic, especially during the day.

Cosy and relaxing

Location is practical, In a small town center we had access to local shops, bakeries, restaurants, activities... The guest house was also very close to the park/playground which was nice for the kids.

The floor boards make a lot of noise when you walk on them but it didn't bother me so much, I was just worried that it might bother the other guests. Other than that everything was perfect.

Extremely quaint little suite with antique furniture and balcony

Well, the best thing about this is the vintage feel of the room we stayed in (the suite). Antique furniture, a freaking chandelier and all about old school feel. The room has a balcony where you can sit and have some wine in the evening and people-watch. Mettlach is a rather tiny place with all the restaurants and such stuffed into that one street, so there is plenty of activity, but it's a little... stuck in time so all the outside seating of the hotel downstairs will be vacated by 10 p.m. at the latest, so the room is actually really quiet at night. The owner is super nice and helpful and very eager to make you feel welcome. Check in and check out was super easy and convenient. We would definitely book again.

Some people commented on the sluggish little fridge and it is kinda true that things like drinks took overnight to get cooled, but that was OK for us. If you have medication or something that needs to be cooled properly, keep that in mind. Also the place only takes cash, which was ok for us but is still a little... stuck in time -as such, it fits well with the overall theme of the room (and town).

Einfache und komfortable Übernachtung in Mettlach

Tolle Lage, alles was man braucht für eine angenehme Übernachtung. Super sind auch die Kaffeemaschine mit Pads und die Möglichkeit, Tee zuzubereiten. Der Self-Checkin war absolut einfach, besser geht es nicht.

Ein Bett war etwas durchgelegen und die Beleuchtung könnte heller sein.

Een onverwachte verrassing om in zo'n kamer terecht te komen, de mooiste tot nu toe!

De (weliswaar relatief ! duurste) kamer: met een prachtige antieke kleerkast, een riante zithoek met een smaakvol gedekte salontafel, kleuren afgestemd op het groen van de antieke bank en de 2 antieke armstoelen. Een balkon, met zitje en een prachtig uitzicht op het plein, en de daarachter liggende rivier, de aanlegplaats van de boten , de groene heuvels. Goed bed; te warm dekbed (althans voor mij). Je verwacht zo'n mooie kamer niet bij het binnenkomen van het hotel, waarbij je een zeer sobere indruk eerste indruk krijgt. Overigens voor mij geen probleem zolang het maar schoon en hygiënisch is. En dat was het. En niet te vergeten: een vriendelijke en behulpzame gastheer.

Top Lage im Mettlach, die Suite ist toll

Wir waren in der Suite und die war sehr schön eingerichtet. Von dem Balkon hatten wir Flussblick, es war super zentral gelegen aber Abends ruhig. Alles hat reibungslos geklappt und der Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Sehr fürsorglicher und freundlicher Gastgeber. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Zentrale Lage in der Fußgängerzone, Schiffsanleger fussläufig und mit dem Auto in 15 Minuten an der Saarschleife. Ideal für ein Wochenende.

Sehr gut ausgestattete Wohnung. Sehr ruhig in der Fußgängerzone gelegen. Sehr gute Lage für Ausflüge nach Luxemburg und

Ferienwohnung mit viel Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet. Alles sehr sauber und Wohnung zentral gelegen. Haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wohnung ist in der Fußgängerzone gelegen und daher mit dem Auto nur morgens bis um 11h erreichbar. Nächster Parkplatz ca. 50m entfernt.

Geweldige locatie in het centrum van Mettlach. Er was alles voor handen bakker, ijssalon, restaurants, winkels.... In het appartement was er thee en koffie voorzien. Gewoon prachtig om er te verblijven.

Ein einfaches, aber sehr schönes Zimmer in zentraler Lage in Mettlach (Fussgängerzone, sehr ruhig). 2 nette Frühstücks-Cafés in direkter Nachbarschaft. Alles sehr sauber. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Perfekt! Merci!

Fantastisch appartement! Schoon en netjes!

We zijn al eerder in dit appartement geweest. Een geweldige locatie, nu een kamer met balkon geboekt. Dit appartement is ruim opgezet met koffie en thee faciliteiten. De gastheer is erg vriendelijk en de communicatie, vooraf, was prima!

Zentral gelegen mit "Flair"

Der persönliche, nette Kontakt zum Vermieter hat uns gefallen, er ist sehr um seine Gäste bemüht. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig. Es stand Wasser, Kaffee und Tee zur Verfügung. Es gab einen Kühlschrank. Man kann sehen, dass der Gast umsorgt wird.

Die zweite Etage mit Gepäck ohne Aufzug war etwas beschwerlich. Die Helligkeit der Deckenleuchte im Bad ist definitiv verbesserungswürdig

Aangenaam verblijf op een goede locatie in Mettlach.

Gästehaus Flair biedt geen ontbijt aan, maar dat wisten we. De kamer overtrof onze verwachtingen en de gastheer is een heel aangename behulpzame man. Het café naast de deur en de bakker een beetje verder bieden ontbijt aan. Fietsen kunnen veilig op de binnenkoer.

Alle was dik in orde. Ik zie niet wat er kan worden verbeterd.
