Very good hotel. Ideal for an overnight stop, or a longer stay in the area.

Comfortable quality hotel, conveniently located just off the A8. Friendly staff at check-in, check-out, and in the bar/restaurant. Extensive breakfast buffet with good coffee. I had dinner in the bar, which was also very good.

Good comfortable stay suitable for bike tourers.

Large smart TV - best of trip. Carpeted floor. 2 seats and small slide-out bench. Corner room with good ventilation. Road was busy during the day but quiet at night. Lockable bicycle garage across the road. Small bathroom with good hot water. Good breakfast buffet, available from 7am even on Sunday. We had a bottle of wine with us that they put in their fridge to cool down for us. Good in-room safe, large enough for laptop. Large grocery store only 350m away.

No refrigerator or kettle in room. No air conditioning but not needed at this time of year.

Superb hotel for a stopover in a great town

This is an excellent hotel for a stopover just off the autobahn. Very comfy quiet rooms, good bed and shower. Breakfast had lots of choice and it starts at 7am even on Sundays, which was great for us early risers. Merzig is a nice town - It's a short walk into the town where there are some good restaurants and bars.

Lovely hotel, shame about the noise

Lovely hotel, staff were very helpful. Ate in the restaurant which was great. Breakfast good

50th birthday party below our room with very loud music until past midnight. We were put in a room directly above the "party room". Would have been better to put the party guests in those rooms and other people at the other end of the hotel. Wouldn't stay again at the weekend as I assume this is a common occurrence

I have arrived in an all day pouring rain crossing Germany with the aim to stay the night and get to the ferry back to England the next day. The hotel is in a perfect location for that as it's only a few minutes from the motorway. When the front desk staff saw that I am on a motorcycle she offered to put it in one of the hotels secure garages. That was a huge bonus for me. Dinner was delicious and served beautifully and the breakfast was great. From now on will be the hotel I will be staying at when crossing Europe.

Good place to break the journey

Good location not far from the centre in Merzig. Good size room and comfortable bed. Ok size bathroom. Nice to have a bottle of water in the room. Food for dinner was good but the restaurant was very busy.

Service at dinner was very slow. Breakfast was a ok but room had zero atmosphere and quality of food was not amazing.
