Cosy family hotel by river Saar

Fine location by the river and close to the centre of Mettlach. Free and easy parking. Good breakfast with fresh ingredients. Very friendly and service-oriented staff.

thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We liked little touches in the room… foot bath, and leg lotion.

The breakfast was fabulous. Lots of variety and an option as well re: type of egg.

Lovely cute small hotel extremely clean.

Breakfast was great, freshly orange juice quality jam. Location it’s nice but only one think I didn’t like are room was facing to main road was very load car sounds trow out the night :( I wish I knew it I would book different room. But everything else was more then I expected. Super clean place !!!

Exceptional and Thoughtful

Location is really nice next to the river. Rooms are perfect as described. What we liked the most is the support and personal care by the host - Angelika. Small things do make entire experience special. Few examples : We found a gift voucher of Komoot.de (bike planning app) in the room, some balm for legs, hand lotion - these are thoughtful as we wanted to bike around and it is also win win as it is advertisement for the products as well. Breakfast was offered outside with a nice welcome (pic attached :)). She also called Ebike rental for us, it was very kind and helpful. I highly appreciate the thoughtfulness and personal care by the host. Highly recommended.

Sehr nette Gastgeber, gutes Frühstück.

Einiges war sehr gut, einiges hat uns nicht so gut gefallen. Das ist aber eher individuell unsere persönliche Ansicht, wie z.B. der verlegte Teppichboden. Andere würden das vielleicht positiv empfinden. Wir stimmen allerdings vielen Rezensionen hier zu, die das Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis als nicht passend empfinden.

Hotel Haus Schons ist eine sehr gute Unterkunft, die ich garantiert wieder aufsuchen werde. Sie besticht durch eine fantastische Lage an der Saar, ruhige und sehr saubere Zimmer, gute Parkmöglichkeiten, ausgezeichnetes Frühstück, aber insbesondere durch eine extrem freundliche und charmante Hotelleitung sowie hervorragendes/freundliches Personal. Ich habe mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt!

Hoge prijs voor een toch iets wat vervallen hotel.

Locatie is perfect. Makkelijk lopen naar het dorpje.

De kamer was erg klein en ingericht als gymzaal met veel rotzooi

Prima klassiek Duits hotel.

Klassiek Duits hotel met zeer goed bed en dito sanitair. Zeer goed ontbijt met leuke verrassing. Separate ruimte waar je een biertje oid kunt drinken of pakken (tegen betaling). Ligging prima tov Saarschleife. Plaats zelf is bekend om Villeroy & Boch met shop + diverse outlets.

Toll eingerichtetes Zimmer, wunderschöne Bilder im Haus, guter Service, sehr freundliches Personal und ein liebevoll gedeckter Frückstückstisch

Personal war sehr freundlich. Frühstück war gut.

Badezimmer sehr klein. Zimmer 10 zur Strasse gelegen und erinnert an ein Kinderzimmer. Deckenleuchte war Bodo mit dem Bagger. Das Wandregal war mit Kinder Bilderbüchern bestückt. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis hat nicht so ganz gepasst.
