The location is just amazing, next to the Saarschleife. Very quiet and green place.
The staff is friendly and tries to solve your issues.
It’s a shame that a really great initiative is executed this poorly.
The houses are very close to each other, it’s easy to peak into the other cabin and there are no curtains. Privacy is not a strong side of this place. Also the wooden cabins crack the whole time, quite loud. You wake up few times in the night due to a loud cracking sound of the wood.

Saarhaus cabin was super cold at arrival. No heat turned on in advance, took till 4 am in the morning to have some heat going, not very pleasant in those wet cold fall temperatures in Germany. Some of the kitchen equipment was missing or not working. Should be checked by staff members before guests arrive, just simple things.
