Perfect location right in the old city. Pubs, resaurants and breakfast places close by. Bicyles can be savely parked.

We decided not to stay even though the hotel seemd fine.

The C'Est La Vie was as we expected and the lady who showed us the room was very pleasant. We did ask for a quiet room which it was even though the view was just of the fire escape. The bedroom and bathroom were immaculately clean. The immediate area is pedestrian only and the local underground car park was just a five minute walk away and the hotel was easy to find. The immediate area around the hotel was full of restaurants and will probably get noisy at night. We decided not to stay, and headed off to to Calais.

We didn't like the town, and felt it had a down-at-heel feeling about it as did the immediate area around the hotel, which felt a little bit seedy. It might have just been us, being a bit tired from our car journey.

Great Stay in the Hearth of Saarlouis

Location is Great , Staff was friendly, very clean bedroom.

In the Morning the other residents could be heard talking and being loud. Pillows were not comfortable at all.

Noisy apartment without kitchen in the center of Saarlouis

Located in the center of Saarlouis. The apartments are located on the first floor, above the restaurant. The owners gave us the key. The apartment is indeed beautiful, like on the pictures - we were very happy. Check-in went smooth, check-out also - we just left the keys on the table. The apartment is big, warm, spotlessly clean and modern. All the facilities are brand new. Good linen and towels, comfortable bed. Really, almost everything was very good, but...

First - there is no kitchen. There is no kitchen on the pictures and in the information, but we have never seen the apartments without kitchen before - then it doesn't call apartments, but rather hotel or B&B. We expected to have it and brought with us a lot of food. The type of the room should be changed. The other problem was the noise. I generally sleep very well, but here there was a loud music until 3 a.m., so I had not slept at all. I have never slept so bad in any hotel in the whole world! The room has no sound isolation at all. And the last is - it is a bit too expensive for what it proposes. If you are OK with that - then you will not be disappointed. But we, actually, were. :((

Het nachtlawaai daar in de straat is niet normaal. Als je zelf niet gaat feesten zou ik hier niet overnachten

Grote kamer in het midden van het centrum.

Tot 5u ‘s morgens werd er op verschillende plaatsen in de straat luide muziek gespeeld. Het mee wel of de ramen gewoon openstonden. Als je zelf heel de nacht gaat feesten kan het wel goed zijn maar wees er maar zeker van dat je niet veel zult slapen. Wij komen hier in ieder geval niet meer terug.

Verschrikkelijk gehorig, neem niet appartement aan voorkant

Prima ingedeeld, groot appartement

Het appartement ligt aan een straat met terrasjes. Dat kan knus en gezellig zijn maar het appartement is kennelijk niet geïsoleerd want we hebben tot diep in de nacht wakker gelegen van de harde muziek van de cafe’s buiten die hun deuren open hadden staan. Enorm gehorig! Dat kan een keer gebeuren maar de host Vanessa was nergens te bekennen bij onze check-out en nadien heeft ze op geen enkele mail/bericht/telefoon gereageerd. Erg onvriendelijk en tot op de dag van vandaag geen reactie, excuses of compensatie.

Unglaubliche, liebevoll gestaltete Einrichtung. Sehr freundliches Personal. Gutes Frühstück. Wunderbare Malereien von unglaublich interessanten Betreibern. Gerne wieder.

Hotel ist sehr schön, jedoch nicht geeignet für ältere Menschen, da die Umgebung sehr laut ist.

Es war ein schönes großes Zimmer. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Mein Hund war willkommen. Das Restaurant hatte gutes Essen und leckere Cocktails.

Das Hotel hat alles richtig gemacht. Leider war gegenüber ein türkisches Lokal mit entsprechender Musik, welches über die übliche Öffnungszeit / Sperrstunde hinaus (bis 5 Uhr morgens), die ganze Straße beschallt hat. … und das leider wirklich sehr laut, da dass Lokal über eine hochwertige Musikanlage verfügt. Das Hotel verfügt über sehr gute Fenster, die in der Lage sind normalen Straßenlärm zu schlucken. Gegen die Beschallung durch das Lokal gegenüber hatten sie aber leider keine Chance. Alle anderen Lokale waren zu diesem Zeitpunkt bereits geschlossen. Warum die Polizei, die sich in der Nachbarschaft befindet, hier nicht eingegriffen hat, war nicht in Ordnung.

Hier kommt man nicht zur Ruhe. Die ganze Nacht extrem laute Musik. Partymeile. Wir hatten keinen Schlaf. .Leider wird nicht im Angebot darüber informiert..Diese Unterkunft ist überhaupt nicht empfehlenswert!!!!!!

Wir waren begeistert

Mehr wie erwartet. Es war ein Appartement im Dachgeschoss zentral in der Altstadt. Die Inhaberin und das angetroffene Personal, (sind glaube ich die Töchter) mega Nett u. lieb. Es war immer wieder eine Freude "Hallo" zu sagen und ein kurzer smaltalk war wie reden mit Freunden. War nur ein kurzer Aufenthalt aber dafür ein allerherzlichsten Dank.....

Nix für Gäste, die den Altstadt Tumult nicht mögen und gerne bei offenen Fenster schlafen. Bei geschlossenem Fenster ist allerdings nichts mehr davon zu hören.

Perfekt gelegenes Hotel mittendrin und dennoch sehr ruhige, gut isolierte Zimmer. Wir kommen jedes Jahr, wenn in Saarlouis Stadtfest ist und kommen immer wieder gerne im C‘est la vie unter. Wir kommen mit dem Zug. Parken ist etwas schwierig, gerade wenn Emmes ist (Stadtfest) Kaffee und Wasser stehen im Zimmer, eine sehr nette Geste Der Empfang ist immer sehr freundlich und herzlich

weihnachtsmarkt und langes shoppen sowie Essen waren Spitze

die Einrichtung, Grösse des Zimmers sowie die Sauberkeit waren wirklich genau nach unserem Geschmack, dazu das nette Lokal unten und das tolle Essen…. hätte ein perfekter Aufenthalt werden können. ABER…….

wir konnten leider bis 3.00 Uhr kein Auge zumachen, weil gegenüber des Zimmers 2 Clubs sind. Trotz Ohrstöpsel nicht zu ertragen. Die sehr steilen Treppen waren für unsere mittelgrosse Hündin nicht zu bewältigen - wir mussten sie tragen…. lt booking com. sollte das für 3 Personen gebuchte Appartement 2 Doppelbetten haben. es hatte 1 Doppelbett und 1 Kojenbett. Glück, dass unsere Tochter nicht mitkommen konnte, denn eigentlich hätten wir dann das Aufbuchen „für jede weitere Person fallen Gebühren an“…. nutzen wollen. 150 Euro für eine schlaflose Nacht steht in keinem Verhältnis - es ist kein vollwertiges Hotelzimmer und wir können daher unter diesem Aspekt keine Empfehlung aussprechen. die Heizung im Bereich des Kojenbettes war stillgelegt und es waren draussen Minusgrade.

Mitten im Leben

Absolut zentral gelegen in einer auch nachts sehr lebendigen Fußgängerzone mit vielen Gaststätten. Schönes Ambiente innen wie außen. Sehr hilfsbereite, freundliche Vermieterin

Die Ausstattung ist absolut korrekt beschrieben... Gewünscht hätten wir uns ein wenig Geschirr, um morgens ein kleines Frühstück im Appartement genießen zu können.

Mitten in der Altstadt sehr laut

Zimmer größe, Einrichtung, Personal.

Die Lage für einen der schlafen möchte ist nicht von Vorteil, gegenüber liegen Disco und Shishabar. Disco und Türkische Musik überschneiden sich viel gegröle, schreien, lautes rufen und lachen gegen 03:00 eine Schlägerei und Ruhe kehrte erst gegen 04:30 Uhr ein.schade für das Hotel.

Schade, es hätte viel Potential.

Die Lage zur Stadtmitte ist super.

Wir waren schon oft Gäste, werden es aber leider nicht mehr sein. Bei diesem Aufenthalt waren wir absolut nicht glücklich, der Zimmerservice war in 7 Tagen Aufenthalt 3 mal da und wir mussten uns unsere Seife und Toilettenpapier selbst in der benachbarten Drogerie kaufen. Bei unserer Ankunft hat es im Zimmer sehr schlecht gerochen und wir fanden es insgesamt etwas schmuddelig. Die Zimmer sind in die Jahre gekommen, ich habe noch nie in einem so weichem durchgelegenem Bett geschlafen, auch die Handtücher waren nicht mehr weich und angenehm, leider hatte es sogar Flecken. Vor unserer Zimmertür war eine Art “Schramme” ode Loch in der Wand, alles hat gebröselt - sehr ärgerlich. Sehr schade, das Personal ist wirklich sehr nett und freundlich, aber Lage ist oft nicht alles :)
