A decent place to stay but with poor internet connection …

Great central location. Decent breakfast.

Very poor WiFi, I asked to be moved to another room but the problem persisted. Also double bed consists of two matresses who separated at night and it was annoying.

It did not meet my expectations and I personally will not stay there again.

There is nothing to mention with room and property. The breakfast was good and met my expectation, Oh and they actually had Vitamins that you can take and this was a first and it was very convenient.

I stayed there for 1 week, The room is very basic. The beds are springy and when you turn around the whole bed moves. I found myself rolled to the centre countless times. The bathroom is alright. my window looked onto the side street and it was noisy with people standing outside the window and it was dirty outside on the ground, this in not the hotels fault but the dirt stayed there for the whole week. The hotel staff don't really speak English. I personally wont stay there again. One more aspect that is something huge according to what you pay per night is the Parking. I had to park in the Paid Parking and it cost be between €17 - €24 per night to leave my car there, so if you take the per night cost as well as the parking and how the facility and room was this is my reason I wont stay there again.

We came during a very warm week. We would have liked air conditioning. Also, being Americans, we like our ice, which is difficult throughout Europe. However, Ibrahim was very helpful and found some ice for us.

A Nightmare Stay – Room 301

A Nightmare Stay – Room 301 I had a truly terrible experience at this hotel. After just one hour of sleep, I was abruptly awakened by bed bugs biting me. To my horror, I found them not only in the bed but also underneath it. Shocked and distressed, I immediately called the hotel’s emergency number. What followed was even more unacceptable. The response I received offered no solution—no alternative room, no assistance—leaving me stranded in an infested room in the middle of the night. At 1:30 a.m., I had no choice but to pack up and leave the hotel in search of a solution, which was nearly impossible at that hour. I returned the next day expecting to speak with a manager, but no one came to address the situation, despite staff being fully aware of what had happened. Later that afternoon, I received a call—not from a senior manager, but from someone else—informing me that I would not receive a refund. To make matters worse, they pleaded with me not to post any photos of the bed bugs, the “special guests” of room 301. I felt deeply insulted and disrespected. No guest should ever have to endure such a horrifying experience or be treated with such disregard. It’s clear that guest well-being is not a priority for this establishment. I sincerely hope that room 301 has since been closed for proper pest control.

Pleasant

It was only one night. The space is super and the staff are very good. I have booked the room before I came about 1 hour and it was too late. It was 10:00 PM. Check in untill 10:30 pm.

The room was Roofroom 405 🙄 We didnot open the windows because of the Moskitos that were beside the tree outside. There is no curtain in the room. You cannot sleep good because the sunlight.

A pleasant stay at UNO Posthof in the pleasant town of Saarlouis

The location was fine, in the centre of town, off a busy square. Parking was close by. The staff were very friendly and spoke English pretty well. Decaf coffee was made for me in the morning. A fair amount of fresh fruit was available at breakfast.

A Diamond in the Rough

This convenient hotel features a good breakfast. The rooms are simple and small, but clean, comfortable, and quite modern.

At night there may be some noise on the outside, due to the hotel’s central location. The staff varies from friendly to indifferent. There is no water available in the rooms, nor anywhere in the building after hours, which I think is a simple but major flaw.

Out of the 2 single rooms only one delivered, with a single bed for 2 people. Rude staff insists to pay for 2 rooms (reserved but key not delivered!). No manners / may be better off with a barn . All this before a hospital procedure! (Receptionist aware and still...) Worst hotel experience in the past 10 years.

Very well located right in the centre next to the Großer Markt. Friendly and helpful staff. Pleasant comfortable room. Very good breakfast with a varied selection.

There is no car park on site and best parking is on the Großer Market at extra cost.
