Good short stay

Very family friendly and excellent location. Staff were so kind and helpful. Swimming pool and spa was wonderful. Loved the half board option.

We were in the holiday home. Internet didn't work. There was a coffee machine and water kettle but no tea or coffee or any amenities. We stayed 3 nights and there was no room cleaning at all during this time (reception did not mention that there wouldn't be?) Drinks at dinner were very expensive.

Great stay as this was a transit hotel enroute to Austria, so had everything we needed and more.

Very comfortable for our brief overnight stop from Italy to the Tunnel

The room was large and well equipped. Dinner was very good, but unfortunately we cant really comment on the breakfast as due to needing to leave early for the Tunnel we didn't experience this. The hotel did though provide an 'early bird' option of coffee and croissants

What a wonderful lovely relaxing hotel, in a great location, staff where so welcoming, friendly and helpful, hotel is so clean and lovely, decor is lovely with everything in superb condition, restaurant is lovely with wonderful food and service, breakfast buffet is amazing with everything you want with great service , pool and garden area is wonderful , I stayed in a apartment across the road from the hotel, the apartment was wonderful, spotless clean, spacious, everything in there you need, comfortable and relaxing, will be staying again

The people working for the hotel were just..AMAZING! Vielen Dank! Reception, pool area, restaurant, everyone! Great relaxation area near the pool, elegant room. Delicious food for reasonable prices for a 4star hotel. Location close to beautiful sightseeing + free parking.

Great relaxing vacation at Saarschleife: The hotel's comfort and location were the primary factors!

The breakfast options were very good and the hotel authorities took good measures for ensuring hygiene. The location was very good. All the walking trails start very nearby and the bus stop was right in front of the hotel.

The price was a bit high. The room area could have a bit higher.

A Great Newly Renovated Accommodation

This old hotel has undergone extensive upgrade throughout. Most of the work is done, but our experience was not impaired by the ongoing renovation. Breakfast was super with full service and buffet. On check in, the clerk quickly resolved minor discrepancies in the reservation and completely satisfied our needs.

Überall total sauber, passend zur Jahreszeit dekoriert; unglaublich schöner Spa-Bereich (da waren Profis am Werk), sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal, sehr leckeres Frühstück und Abendessen, traumhafte Natur und alle möglichen Wanderwege direkt vor der Tür

Sehr schönes gut geführtes Wohlfühlhotel

Wunderschöne renovierte Zimmer mit bequemen Betten. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Weil wir als Wanderer früh morgens loslaufen wollten und das Frühstück verpassten, erhielten wir stattdessen ein riesiges Lunchpaket! Das war sehr nett und hat uns gefreut!

Frühstück hat mich sehr überrascht. Eine extrem große Auswahl in allen Bereichen. Service sehr gut

Comfort der Zimmer. Entspricht nach meinem Verständnis kein 4-Sterne Hotel. Zimmer aus den 80er/90 er Jahren. Durch Holzbretter-Deko versucht, dieses ein wenig aufzufrischen. Keine Klimaanlage (bei den Temperaturen bei über 30 Grad nicht gerade angenehm in der Nacht). Fernbedienung für den Fernseher im Zimmer fehlte. Toilette / Dusche sehr eng und klein. Unangenehmer Geruch über die Toilette. Wasserzufluss (Menge) sehr gering. Wärmegrad über die Dusch-Armatur schlecht zu regeln. Dusche mehr als nur klein. Sorry, ich bin definitiv viel beruflich unterwegs, aber dieses Zimmer entsprach nicht meinen Vorstellungen.

Ruime kamer, gezellig hotel met heel vriendelijke ontvangst en hele lekkere keuken, ook voor vegetariërs! Een plus was het bubbelbad 👍

Was een kamer aan de voorzijde van een hele drukke baan, dus veel lawaai. Kamers aan de achterzijde zijn denk ik beter.

Gute Lage (5 Minuten zum Saarschleifenblick), sehr große Zimmer mit Sitzgelegenheit, bequeme Betten, schönes Bad (in dem die Duschabtrennung auch wirklich dichthält), kostenfreis Parken, klasse Frühstück mit allem, was man sich vorstellen kann (inkl. frischen Eierspeisen), sehr freundliches Personal

Freundliches Hotel an einem schönen Ort

Wir hatten Einzelzimmer, diese waren sehr nett eingerichtet - alles was man braucht ist da inklusive kleiner Mini-Bar. Das Hotel selbst (Empfangsbereich, Restaurants) sind sehr schick und gepflegt. Das Frühstück ist sehr umfangreich, alles da was das Herz begehrt. Der Spa-Bereich ist ebenfalls sehr chick eingerichtet, Schwimmbad ab 7:00 Uhr morgens geöffnet, so kann man in Ruhe seine Bahnen schwimmen. Zwei Saunen, sind beide nicht sehr groß, wir sind 18:00 in den Bereich gegangen und es war genug Platz. Das Personal am Empfang und auch beim Frühstück war sehr nett und freundlich! Der Standort ist für Autofahrer super, man ist sehr schnell in Trier und in Mettlach. Die Umgebung ist nachts sehr ruhig, man kann ohne Probleme bei offenem Fenster schlafen.

Das Abendessen im Hoteleigenen Restaurant ist sehr hochpreisig, verspricht aber leider mit dem Preis mehr als das Essen an dem Abend hergegeben hat. Der Service am Abend hat uns ziemlich von oben herab behandelt.

Perfekt

Wir wurden sehr freundlich und engagiert empfangen. Bekamen ein wunderbares Zimmer im DG mit Loggia zugeteilt. Im Zimmer haben wir alles vorgefunden, was wir benötigt haben. Das Frühstück war sehr umfangreich, sehr entspannt mit einem sehr guten Service. Parkplatz kostenfrei gleich vor dem Hotel. Wegen des viel zu kurzen Aufenthalts konnten wir leider nicht die sehr viel versprechende Küche ausprobieren. Hotel ist mitten im Ort gelegen und doch in sehr ruhiger Lage. Fußläufig zur traumhaften Saarschleife!

Wäre absolut optimal, wenn ein Fenster über Nacht auf Kipp zu öffnen gewesen wäre.

Beste Unterkunft in bester Lage

Top Lage direkt an der Saarschleife und am dortigen Baumwipfelpfad. Ladestation für e-Auto auch vorhanden. Personal sehr freundlich, Schwimmbad mit Sauna und Dampfbad spitzenmäßig, Frühstück lecker.

Alles okay für ein 4 Sterne Hotel, aber zu teuer, wenn man die Mängel berücksichtigt

Das Personal ist auch sehr nett und teils sehr zuvorkommend. Ich durfte sogar eher mein Zimmer beziehen wie geplannt. Wellness Bereich war auch sehr gut und sauber. Die Lage des Hotels ist super!

Frühstück war ok, man hatte von allem. Nur werden manche Gäste anders behandelt. Manche wurden gefragt ob Sie noch frische Spiegeleier wollten, manche nicht… Fand auch dass es ein wenig Chaotisch aufgestellt war, manchmal musste man echt Suchen um die passenden Gläser, Schüssel, Teller zufinden. Für den Preis des Zimmers was etwas mehr als 300€ pro Nacht mit Doppelbelegung gekostet hat, hätte ich das Zimmer etwas grösser vorgestellt und mehr intakte Ausstattung. Die Leselampen beim Bett könnte man reparieren oder ausstauschen. Eine funktionierte gar nicht, die andere nur wenn man nicht dran geht um die richtig einzustellen, wo man das Licht gebrauchen könnte. Dusche war okay, aber den Duschkopf könnte man auswechseln da er nicht richtig halten tut.
