Very good quality accommodation for the price we paid.

We certainly chose the right place for our 3 night stay! Accommodation was more than adequate, very clean and well thought out. Charlie really is a great host who did everything to make us feel welcome.

Maybe a little more crockery in the kitchen area? But honestly it was fine as it was.

Great location, excellent room

Haydn House is right behind the High Street so it was easy to get to all the local spots that we wanted to visit and pubs, restaurants and shops. It provided a superb base for us to explore from on foot and we were able to leave the car in a nearby cat park for the duration of our stay. The room was clean, well presented and comfortable and the bathroom was also clean. There was a microwave and kettle but we ate out for all our meals and only made ourselves a hot drink first thing in the morning. I liked that shoes were left by the door so the carpets were clean and in the room they were lovely and thick and soft.

The only tiny niggle was that it was possible to hear other people indistinguishably talking and moving about in their rooms but the other guests did seem to respect the quiet hours.

Much needed after working two full days in a market.

Charlie was very friendly and it was great to know he was only on the end of the phone if we needed anything. The views were beautiful and the location was amazing. We will definitely look at staying again. The amenities were perfect too we ate out one night but that was out choice we did not need to. Thank you!

Quality Stay

Located between Abbey and vibrant High Street. Good communication with host. Friendly. Large comfy bed with good quality bed linen. Spotlessly clean. USB charger points. Good internet. Fridge with yogurt and milk provided. Ample supplies of tea and coffee.

If l was to nit pick, a sink would have been nice.

Charlie was an excellent host—proactive in giving us important information, friendly and helpful on arrival. He had great recommendations that all worked perfectly for us. The house is in a superb location and the Abbey View room is lovely.

THE MOST CONSIDERATE AND KIND HOST IN A BEAUTIFUL HOUSE WITH FABULOUS FACILITIES.

Charlie is the kindest and most lovely host ever. We had the best time and Charlie was just an absolute gem. What a beautiful man who made our stay such a success. I had hurt my back so he lent me all sorts of heated pads and creams to help plus found me three practitioners who were able to see me on a Saturday. Honestly he went above and beyond. I would definitely come back again. It was brilliant! Thank you so much.

Lovely, relaxing location

The host Charlie met me and helped to carry my luggage to the room. He was very helpful and always answered my texts quickly. It was a lovely large room with lots of space. The bathroom was big too with a nice shower. Everything was clean and tidy. I also had a kettle, fridge and microwave. There was plenty of crockery and refills for tea/coffee on the landing and some chocolates. It was quiet and very convenient as it's parallel to the High St in Glastonbury.

Great location, host and layout of rooms.

Charlie was a great host and kindly accomodated my bike. The model of suites provided separate bedroom, kitchenette, shower room and enabled self-providing of breakfasts & evening meals by shopping in local shops just round the corner. A quiet location opposite Abbey Gardens. (managed to arrive in time to watch FA Cup final on large flat-screen TV!)

A small comfy chair in bedroom would be a bonus.

Very centrally located and had several nice touches to bring it above 'just a hotel room' such as microwave/toaster/fridge/plates and cutlery in the room, a bath, a multipoint charger next to the bed and a bathroom with a bath in it.

Not much. Just for others to be aware, parking is almost opposite and is a modest £5.80 for 9am-6pm and nil overnight.

Quiet travelers paradise

Haydn House has a quiet tucked away location just off High Street. From entering into the small garden with fish swimming about in the fountain to the kindness of Charlie - you're already guaranteed a great stay. I booked the suite and the comfort and size of the space was delightful - wonderful bed and large shower. As a bonus this room has a view of the Abbey, which truly made my stay special. This is an ideal b&b in Glastonbury and Charlie is a top host!

Fantastic place

Great location, in a quiet street but very close to the town center. I stayed in the spacious and lovely Abbey Suite with excellent facilities (it also offers a nice view of the Abbey). Charlie is a fantastic host, very helpful and friendly. I’ll definitely come back!

Amazing place for a little break

Lovely little apartment for a weekend break. Would Def return and have recommended to others already. Car parking was super close and easy and host was very friendly and fresh milk provided. Nice and easy access to main high street and stunning views from the front window.

Little noisy from the roof work that was happening next door, however this was explained when we arrived and apologised about and overall it did not disrupt our break as we were only watching TV while it was happening and realise that this would not affect most as was only a few hours in the early afternoon so most would be exploring the area during the day. No noise during the night and early morning though at all.

Awesome stay in Glastonbury!

Great location right next to Abbey, quiet lane off the busy High Street. I stayed in the Orchid room: large bed and bathroom and a small sunny kitchen area complete with microwave, fridge, kettle, cups, plates, bowls, wine glasses, cutlery and even a corkscrew. Everything provided but the food and there is a Co-op and a Morissons within walking distance. Charlie was super in providing information about the area. Had a fabulous 3 night stay!

just some feedback that I feel would elevate the overall appeal for the property. the only thing this property needs is an upgrade of beds and pillows. our bed was very hard, maybe put a topper on the mattress and invest in some fresh pillows

Great value for money. No fuss, everything went smoothly. The room had everything I needed. All amenities, lights etc were simple to operate. Complementary milk and a choc bar in the fridge was much appreciated. Decent sized mugs for my cuppa. Friendly and helpful owner/manager.

We had a very comfortable stay. Our room was clean, beds were comfortable, nice shower and towels. Charlie was a great host, friendly and accommodating. The property is very close to the high street and behind the Glastonbury Abbey where the ley lines cross and you can feel the energy. Its a very sacred place and I would love to come back. Thanks Charlie.
