For me the best accommodation in Glastonbury so far. Michelle is a lovely and caring host. Easy communication. Central location. Clean and well-maintained house. Lovely room with coffee / tea making facilities. Lovely warm in winter. Love to come back.
That I didn‘t discover Aroha sooner for previous visits :)

Michelle the host was warm, friendly and helpful. By the time I left I felt I was leaving a friend. Would definitely recommend.

Michelle is a lovely host, friendly and ready to answer any questions about the area! She was a lovely company to have around at breakfast and so was her cat :) Location was extremely convenient too, as it is close to the high street and a lot of attractions, as well as bus stops are just a stone’s throw away. Good breakfast.
The fact that there was no lock for the bedroom doors was a no-no for me; no good excuse for that esp. when it’s a full house. Even though there didn’t appear to be any issues, I still expect to have a bedroom that locks when I pay for a room at a b&b. Unfortunately, cleanliness didn’t meet expected standards for me either, in both bedroom and bathroom, esp considering bathroom has to be shared.

The breakfast was lovely, it set me up for the day ahead. The coffee was fantastic, I'm not a connoisseur but I know what I like. The room was very comfortable and quiet and I had a good night sleep in the bed.
Nothing to report here, all my needs were met for the reasons I was in Glastonbury. Being placed central to the town anything not provided would be available to you, but I had all I needed.

I just loved staying with Michelle. She's such a lovely host and lady in general. She made me feel right at home an supplied me with some great tips on what to do in Glastonbury. The room was clean, location's great and we had a lovely chat each morning during breakfast.

The location is really superb. Just two steps away from High Street but not in the the main huzzle and buzzle so you are not bothered by all the comings and goings. The manager of the B&B is such a kind and lovely sweetheart. She makes you feel really welcomed and gives excellent advise.
there wasn t really anything that I did not like.

Marvellous breakfast pleasant sitting beside open door to the garden and pleasant talking to fellow guests and host. Michelle was extra specially helpful. The really exceptional thing was to stay in a b&b or hotel with beautiful smelling natural ecological cleaning ingredients. So often my stay is ruined by unbearable heavy duty toxic cleaning fluid smells - have to open all the windows to clear the air ! Strange how people dont realise they're poisoning themselves. Michelle had lovely soaps shampoo etc and cleans with lovely smelling very good quality materials. Just one indication of her care and sensitivity.
For me a little far to walk to shared bathroom in the night and I prefer a bath - but well worth putting up with this slight inconvenience - also the other two rooms are next door to the bathroom. Just for people to bear in mind.

Room was nice and comfortable and clean very close to high street.
The room was by the street so it was noisy at night and I had to buy earplugs to be able to sleep the next day. There are other rooms rented and no option to close the room with a key.

I had the most amazing stay at Michelle’s place in Avalon! She’s the kindest, most thoughtful host you could ask for, super welcoming, helpful, and just lovely to chat with. The house is super clean, cozy, and perfectly located.
And let’s not forget... her cat! The sweetest little companion who made the stay even more special. If you're looking for a peaceful, feel-good getaway with a host who truly cares, this is the place. Thanks again, Michelle!

Aroha was perfectly situated for quick access to Glastonbury town centre, as well as taking a lovely walks up to the Tor via the country lanes at the top of the road. Michelle was warm, friendly host, and a pleasure to talk to. I had a single room at the back of the house, which was quiet and comfortable. I was able to stick my head out of the window and see the Tor through the trees - a bonus! Breakfast was healthy and plentiful, comprising choices of cereals, fruit, bread and jams plus unlimited tea and coffee. The property was very clean, and nicely furnished to feel welcoming but not precious. I felt at home as soon as I arrived, and was sad to say goodbye at the end of the weekend.
I don't really have any negatives, as this was just the sort of accommodation I was hoping for, and exceeded my expectations. A single shared bathroom could have been an issue, but to be honest it wasn't, even with a full house.

Aroha is very conveniently located to Glastonbury high street, the Tor and Chalice Well. If you need a break from it all or a digital detox and return to peace and quiet, then this may be for you.

Aroha is on a fed steps from High street, very close the Tor, Chalice Wells, White spring, … and still very quiet. It’s a place where you can be in peace. Michelle is very discrete, caring and warm. For people who, like me, go to Glastonbury for its sacred history and energy, or just need to relax and feel at home, Aroha is a perfect place to stay.

Michelle was wonderfully welcoming and accommodating. The lovely room had well curated, uncluttered deco with a feminine touch (I dislike too much wall decor and appreciate a clean white wall). The bathroom was very clean. The location right up the High Street is perfect for accessing sites of interest as well as the shops including a health food store, and for traveling by bus.

The host, Michelle, was very friendly and welcoming. She made us feel relaxed and at home. The rooms were lovely. She did a wonderful breakfast, with gorgeous homemade preserves. She gave us lots of great tips about how to get the most out of our stay in Glastonbury, and did lots of little things that made it an extra special experience. The location was excellent, being just up from the High Street, so in walking distance to the shops, Chalice Well, the Abbey, and all the other main attractions.
