Walker Ground Manor is in a great location. Firstly it is set in a lovely garden, after that it is a very short to Hawkshead, which has good shops, pubs and restaurants. It’s also well placed for walking, with a path into Grizedale Forest just outside the door.
Sue and Richard are lovely hosts, really looking after you, with a welcoming drink and cake and a great selection at breakfast.
The house is comfortable, spacious and clean.

Amazing building with amazing host, I have never been in a guest house or hotel that was so clean, absolutely spotless and the bathroom was breathtaking. Breakfast was great and nothing was too much bother for the owners
