Room was basic but functional. It lived up to my expectations. Ideal for an overnight stay. Shower was warm and practical.

The parking for motorbikes was not great,
As it was all gravel

The room was clean and basic. It was a bit noisy as the plumbing (I assume) sometimes banged loudly in our room. This didn’t go too late into the night and we slept well.
The kitchen facilities were good and the large dining/lounge area was a great space. The whole place could do with a lick of paint and a good wipe over. The games and books were tatty with pieces missing (no table tennis with only one bat and no ball!).
It was good to have a bar which was reasonably well resourced. When we could find them the staff were friendly but it seemed, over stretched.
We brought our own food so I don’t know what the food sold by the hostel was like.
It was unfortunately raining and so we didn’t use the outside areas though they looked lovely.
We’d come back for another no frills basic nights rest.
