Stunning location. Stunning views. 15 min walk rom Hawkshead village that has lovely pubs, cafes and a co-op. We did a 10K loop walk from the door around the beautiful Tarn Howe. The property is on a working farm. Surrounded by cows and sheep. Perfect for our family.

Fantastic location, walking distance to Hawkshead village. We loved being amongst the animals on the farm. The hot tub was great. Amazing views to Esthwaite Water. We loved it so much we’ve booked to stay again!
There was nothing we didn’t like. It would have been useful to have a washing machine.

We had a delightful stay at Shepherd's Cottage. Nicole and Reuben had thougfully put up some Christmas decorations and an advent calendar with drawers with treats. The cottage is cosy, comfortable and well equipped with a lake view. It's an easy stroll into Hawkshead from directly outside the door with other walks - fell and valley - close by. Ambleside, Grasmere, Coniston and Windermere are a short drive away. It had everything we were looking for.
