A lovely location, 10 minutes walk to Hawkshead, the property had a wow factor. The bedding and towels were excellent. Very good laminate and carpet flooring. Bathrooms were great. Tremendous views from inside the house and on the patio.

Tired rugs. One small kitchen bin and small cafetière for 6 people. Limited supplies. Poor lighting in main lounge, and furnishings in second lounge. No smart speaker. Guidance pack out of date, eg referred to Heart of the Lakes, whereas we booked with Sykes via Booking.com. One fire smoky, other not working. Key safe hard to locate. Strictly one parking space. A fantastic house but take some supplies.

Great location, comfy beds, great open plan living with additional lounge, two good bathrooms, parking.

Downstairs bathroom is cold, single towel rail is not adequate to warm room sufficiently.

The location just outside Hawkshead is very peaceful. The views are stunning. The house is very well equipped, immaculately clean and the beds were super comfortable. Three double rooms of which one is downstairs and en-suite which was important to us as one family member has mobility issues. Highly recommend this property.

This was excellent for us with older teenagers but not suitable for young children in my opinion due to river at side of garden and wide opening nature of windows.
