The location was excellent, the hotel was a perfect Buttermere stay. The staff were helpful and friendly. The pub in the hotel was great. The breakfasts were excellent.
The room I was initially given did not meet my expectations from Booking.com marketing photos. The room only had a single bed and the pillows were not great. Also I was disappointed there was no bath only a shower. After I brought this up with the manager they moved me to a nicer room with a much more comfortable double bed and a bath. They said that Booking.com does not advertise accurately. But I can not fault their response to my complaint.

The location was outstanding The building was traditional construction which blended into the surrounding Well maintained property with lovely bathroom The staff were very attentive
