It was a lovely location - a short drive into Keswick and close to many treks and lakes in the surrounding area. The room was clean, well presented. The breakfast was well presented and delicious and the staff were amicable.
We found the walls were quite thin in that we could hear every footstep, cough, snore and voice of the people in the room next to us… we were awoken quite early each morning by this which was quite frustrating.

You have to like remote as there is no mobile phone signal and if you drive from Keswick it is on your left as the gps location is a few feet further. But if you do not know you may miss it.
But this weakness is its strength. You are as one of the lady helping me said off grid.
View a bit hacking to the top is great.
The place is spacious whilst the room is small.
You really have to like village house kind of building. And no tv …

The views were stunning, breakfast was delicious, and the owners went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. There’s lots of animals around, which we loved, and the location was surprisingly easy to navigate (even as foreigners).

No personal greeting from host,just a piece of paper under key with room number.
