Friendly staff, lovely comfortable common area and beds in a gorgeous quiet valley
My only complaint was the water pressure in the shower, the slippy shower tray and that the water didn’t drain very well.

Long way from Ennerdale bridge on c2c path!Had to wait for taxi and paid £60.00 !Cash only!
As above..Could not carry on walking along Ennerdale waters!
Dry room was not very hot,so clothes still damp/wet in am.

Location and staff.
Didn't like the bunk beds. If two adults have booked a private room, they would prefer two single beds or a king-size bed. So we had a bunk bed each. The room felt like a prison cell. And of course there is NO TV. Also didn't like the shared showers and toilets. Couldn't charge up mobile phones in the room, had to use landing charging points. Potentially dangerous because of the leads of the chargers running across the landing. Didn't like the price either. Too expensive.
