Great location and shower

The location was great. The shower was great. The hosts were lovely. The breakfast was nice.

The heating was on too hot, so we put all the windows in the bedroom open during the night. This would have cost the hosts money that they didnt need to spend.

Not somewhere we would return to even if owners are friendly

The location was good for being near the family we were visiting. The owners are friendly.

The flooring in the entrance hallway was not fixed to the floor in many areas and dangerous. The carpets on the stairs were dirty. The stairs were very steep with no rail to hold onto. The beds were uncomfortable. The bathroom had no extractor fan, the door didn’t shut properly (also had no lock) and it wasn’t clean. We had to dust the kettle so chose not to use it (it was also half full of water on arrival which is not hygienic). There was no breakfast menu/choices so when we didn’t eat everything we felt we were being wasteful.

Brilliant stay with brilliant hosts, they were far nicer than we deserved and the food was delicious

Breakfast was fresh, tasty, traditional and with a range that is also suitable for younger ages. Dedicated parking was a big plus as it is busy and near places of interest. The staff was brilliant, very very friendly and approachable also are eager to please by being helpful.

The bathroom door didnt close, small folk easily walked in on others while they were using it. But i can see this issue easily fixed as its probably just a tired door knob.

Location was perfect. Hosts clearly love their jobs and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Our kids only had praise and would have loved to stay longer.

Lovely facilities very central to Weymouth good value for money lyn and Dave are the perfect hosts very friendly and kind they loved our little 6 yr old granddaughter we all felt at home at the Galway guest house very clean establishment and Lyns breakfast were perfectly cooked plenty of it and a continuous conveyor belt of fresh toast and butter and jams marmalade which our granddaughter loved coffee was proper percolated coffee very nice and the tea was lovely also in the rooms there was always a supply of coffee and tea sugar and milk also the lovely Lyn and Dave tidied and cleaned the room each day would highly recommend them and the Galway Guest House Weymouth

Perfect guest house for a short break in Weymouth

Dave and Lyn were fabulous. So welcoming and great with the children. It was a bonus to have a parking space, the room was a great size (with castle bunk beds) for 5 of us, with breakfast included (which was plentiful and delicious). The room was clean and comfy, and tea/coffee was topped up daily. The location was amazing, only a 10 minute walk to the beach, and a very simple route too. Overall, absolutely fantastic, a great find and we'd love to return.

A wonderful stay to relax with family before exploring the Jurassic Coast.

Breakfast was fantastic and the host were lovely! So funny and kind and very helpful too! Absolutely a gem of a find and can't wait to come back to stay here again with my girls in the future. Very toddler friendly too! The family room was very spacious and good amenities provided.

Proper family guest house

Dave took care of us on our 1 night stay,he was brilliant, good value for money, we only booked hours before on a whim and our room was ready and we was given a parking space off road too. everything was lovely! To be able to get our family of 2 adults and 4 kids into 1 room is very rare,and the bunk beds were so fun. Breakfast was wonderful, reminded me of childhood holidays in Weymouth. We look forward to coming back to the Galway guest house. Thanks Dave

Great Guest House Close to seafront and town

Dave and Lyn were both lovely Hosts. Great communication helped with any enquiries, went above and beyond for us. Wonderful couple. The room was great, my 12 year old son loved the fort bed, beds were comfortable, shower room was really nice and hot. Towels supplied, milk tea, coffee and sugar supplied. TV and Internet all working. Car park around the back of the property but we managed to park outside on the road as we arrived after street parking times and stay parked until we left the next morning. And only a few minutes walk from the marina and shops ideal location. Great guest house. 👌

A quintessentially British seaside guesthouse with a wonderful breakfast

The quirkiness of the great British seaside guesthouse never seeks to amaze me. Dave and Lyn are fantastic hosts. Dave has great chat and Lyn makes a fab breakfast. we loved the allocated breakfast times - it made it super chilled. our bed was wonderfully comfortable :)

Only if this helps you and feel free to ignore - I think you could get away with a bit less furniture to open the room up a bit more but that said it was wonderfully charming and cosy :)

Excellent service and great value for money!

The owners were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Our family suite is very clean, warm and comes with en suite which suits our needs. Our breakfast were delicious and catered our kids with allergies. Highly recommended 😉👍

Everything about staying at Galway was exceptional. My children loved the castle bunk beds and Dave and Lyn were fantastic hosts. I would definitely stay here with my family again.
