The owner was very helpful and welcoming, the room was fine but just a bit ‘tired’ due to the building’s age. The bed was very comfortable and the only real downside was the lack of well placed sockets and a shaver point. The room was perfectly adequate for one night but would need to be upgraded for a longer stay.
See above. Don’t want to be negative because the owner was really welcoming and clearly trying to make the best of an older building that needs a lot of updating.

Parking handy in front of hotel. liked the arrangement where you could help yourself to uncooked breakfast at a time to suit ourselves at no extra cost. Garden was pleasant. Newly-installed shower was very good. Host very genial and easy-going
