2 stars we reckon.

The staff at royal Bansko are what makes this place. They are so lovely and go out of their way to make your stay better. We had a 7 month old and they were super accommodating with nappy bags and a microwave. The food was also decent, if not a little cold. The fresh fruit was fantastic! The area is great too, easy access to the piste and a ride to the gondola is you need.

This being a 3 star hotel didn't feel quite right. We figured 2 stars would be more likely. Things just weren't quite right! The shower didn't have a full door (half had fallen off?), the shower head didn't stay up, the kitchen had nothing (not even a teaspoon), the beds were topped with mattress toppers because they were pretty awful (ours had 2!), the food was pretty cold a lot of the time, the ceiling by the elevator had actually fallen down, the pool was fine but a bit gross, the towels completely threadbare. Don't get me wrong, I believe you get what you pay for and as one of the cheaper options, we should've known what was coming! But it was a little disappointing at first.

Ideal hotel for families with young kids, great food and a short walk to town.

The whole hotel was ideal for us with young kids. Very relaxed and lots to do. The food is so good and plenty of it. Staff were so friendly and accommodating.

The hotel is not new and some areas are a little run down but it didn’t impact our stay in any way.

Overall, very disapointing for the rental price. I would not recommend it to anyone.

We did not like almost anything about this place. Maybe the best thing is the pool which is convinient for children. Food was ok, eatable.

Location is vary bad, unconvinient even if you have a car, you have to go through the mud and bumps to reach the parking which is also in mud. Room was terrible, dirty linnen and very old beds, full of dust and hair. The couch on which our kid was supposed to sleep was very dirty, full of dust with cigaret burns. Bathroom was very small, with barely any place to put anything.

Everything was excellent , the hotel was very clean and comfortable, the staff was professional, friendly, and always helpful. The food was fantastic, fresh, and very well prepared .

Perfect for family

We liked a lot, place has warm family atmosphere, felt like home. Hosts and staff were the best! Food buffet is made for every taste, bar and lounge comfortable and you can find all you need. Pool and jakuzzi hot, clean and perfect to relax. Rooms warm, specious and it was cleaned and bedding/towels were changed couple times during the stay. This hotel deserves more then 3 stars! Love it and we will come again ♥️

Excellent value for money

Excellent value for money. As expected from the pictures the hotel is more on the older side, but nevertheless nice. The pool and jacuzzies are great, even the gym is okay for a workout. The location is also great, not at the busy center, but close enough on foot and close to the lift. The navigation unfortunately brought us there through a not very nice road, even though there is a far better one. The highlight definately was the staff - they were outstanding, really made an effort to make us feel welcomed and taken care of, loved that!

Just small things - there was dust on the blinds and some other small things, but overall we had a great stay.

The wiew was fantastic, after i ask them to change our room. SPA fcilitys was great but, without toilet in SPA aria. Food was ok.

The clening in the room, inexistent ( heir, a lot of dust, etc) . Verry old furniture. Smal chicinet without nothing ( no vesel, no plates, no spun, no nothing..) nither on lavet or burete to clean your personal plate. The heater from living room, burn with flames ( they change with one mobile) but, i ask my self, what happend if wee, dont was in the room, in that mom, to stop that flame.

I Like the Tennis court, and the Landscape, also the big Pool.

The beds were very uncomfortable, the rooms were not so clean, the cleaning ladys did not came all week, we call them them to do the trash and to leave toalet paper, also the sauna steam bath and the jacuzzi were cold and not turn on all the time.

Great value

Location of the hotel was pretty close to Gandola lift. It took about 10 min by walk to get there. Close to forest where you can make some walk. Nice and clean hotel, pool was good, kids loved to spend there a time. Sauna and steaming were also good to get relaxed after ski. Good WiFi

There was nothing good there except the view from the windows

1. We were not warned that the apartment was on two floors, people of an age lived in it, who coped with it with difficulty. 2. The apartment was very dirty, as if it had not been washed since the hotels were closed for quarantine. 3. The pipes have not been changed or cleaned since the hotel was built, the water did not go away in the shower and in the sink, a terrible blockage. 4. Breakfast at the hotel is terrible, could be more varied. The name of the hotel is all inclusive, but you need to pay extra for lunch and dinner. 5. It was described that the apartment is 70 square meters, there is a hair dryer and an iron, there was none of this, there was not even a kettle to make tea for yourself, there were no cutlery and plates. We had to ask the staff about it. 6. They only give out two towels per person, and if you want to go to the Spa area, you need to pay separately for a bathrobe. 7. The staff is very unfriendly and unfriendly. We are traveling with dogs, we were warned that dogs are not allowed in the restaurant and spa, which is normal. We followed the rules of the hotel, did not leave the dogs alone so that the barking did not interfere with other residents, always took them out of the hotel without lingering in the Lobby of the hotel. We sat down for a couple of minutes to drink health on the occasion of a birthday with our friends in the lobby, and the hostess of the hotel raised such a scandal about why dogs are in the lobby, although it was originally about the restaurant and spa area. The hostess of the hotel started swearing and threatening us. I think the hotel's rating is higher than it should be. And the hotel is by no means all inclusive.

The hotel is in a quiet aria, free parking, basic breakfast, apartment was big enough, the bed in the bedroom was comfortable, 10 minutes walk from the city center, the stuff very friendly and helpful, the pool was ok, not so many people go, but is was ok, the jacuzzi also.

The rooms were very dirty, for months nobody vacuumed under the bed or the corners or under the sofa etc., there were dirty and smelly pillows in the dresser, there was no cutlery, cups, nothing in the kitchen, you can't have a tea, actually you have to bring from home everything:( I asked at the breakfast room for some cuttlery and they let me take it from there...they brought us new towels and from 4 towels 2 of them were really like broken after a dogs fight into 3-4 pieces... we used them on the bathroom floor ....

The road to the property is not yet finished and the infrastructure going there leaves a bit to be desired. Takes 15 minutes to reach the lively area of the city.

The location is great, and there is a very large jacuzzi that has been installed since my last visit, which was during the winter.

My booking was for half board, all inclusive. However, there was some confusion with the booking and I was not given any meals. I mentioned the problem to the staff, but nothing was done about it. Also, the sauna and steam room were not working during my visit.
