Staying with Kathy and Hector felt like visiting family or long time friends :) For my wife and myself the warm welcome they gave us was like an excellent 'gateway' into NZ, as our stay at Whitby Studio was the first on our trip. The studio itself is very well equipped, even with added extras - a big thank you to our hosts especially for the bottle of wine :) The area is quiet and very peaceful. with all necessary amenities nearby. Highly recommended, especially after long flights, as Whitby Studio is an ideal place to relax.

It was nice and open. The kitchen had all that was needed. The bed was very comfortable. Outside there was a good sized deck and lawn edged with beautiful mature trees that screened everything. It was 4 mins walk to the lovely beach and shops. The hosts were absolutely lovely, kind and helpful.

It’s a home away from home. It has everything you’ve ever needed.
Very handy location close to everything: shops, playgrounds, beaches and Albany for delicious food and shopping malls! Mairangi bay beach is so lovely! Better than most we have been.
The hosts are so nice and lovely! Best people! We are so happy with the stay. Hope to come back again one day soon!
