Awesome and felt like home.

The lady who greeted me, probably Dominic was nice and the owner as well. I also had a last-minute request to leave my small luggage so I can explore more of the city. I highly recommend this place, nice and quiet! They are also responsive on messages. I just didn't notice that towels were included, I brought mine but that was okay. Shampoo and liquid body wash was also included and not the typical ones you'll see in the hotels. I hope they can include hair dryer in the toilet, but overall, my stay was nice and comfy!

Spoilt by TV noise in the middle of the night

Homely feel, well organised for guests, feeling of freedom around the property. Little out of town but bus services were local and excellent, otherwise serene location.

We both didn’t appreciate being woken at 0254 by a loud television in the property and being kept awake for the next hour, despite trying to block the noise out by covering our ears. The neighbouring guests had also left quite early so we suspect they suffered the same as there was no TV in their room either. It was only one night stay and hence felt grouchy due to lack of sleep in the morning.

Excellent value for money with the genius discount, I would definitely recommend this property.

Conveniently located in a quiet suburban street only a short walk from Mount Eden village, this property was clean and comfortable. Hosts were cheerful and friendly.

Others using hall way toilet early in morning was a little noisy, but nothing to complain about really.

A comfortable place with decent offstreet parking

I chose this place for the good off-street parking and it seemed a safe suburb. Host Bo was friendly and gave us a few tips about the local area. Bed was comfortable and the shower pressure is fantastic.

There are at least three rooms used for guests upstairs and all the doors look the same. It would have helped me to have the bedrooms, bathroom and toilet labelled as we didn't realise there was a separate toilet till the second day. Would also have been happier if we could lock our bedroom door from the outside when we were out, especially given the number of other guests in the house. A top sheet on the bed would have been good too. But all in all, it was a good value place to stay and I would consider staying again.

Clean and comfortable.

The host was friendly, the house and the room were clean, and comfortable. We thought there will be shared toilets, but in the room there was individual bathroom which was great. There is a close private parking space. The location is good, close to the centre although the neighbourhood looked safe and quiet.

Safe, convenient and a little bit special

Bo was great, property was perfectly located for Mt Smart Stadium (to drive too). Was just so quirky staying in someone's house. Totally out of the norm for us, but totally required as we were too tired to drive home. We are so grateful that Christine and Bo have a space like this to offer. to tired travellers. Clean towels, clean sheets and bedding and a very sound and relaxing evenings sleep - the whole experience was a good one.

Was just random to walk through someone's personal home, their belongings and personal items but that's what also made it so "special" - it does say shared space!

La meilleure nuit que vous puissiez passer à Auckland ! 😃

Nous avons absolument tout adoré ! La maison est très belle, très confortable et très grande ce qui permet d’avoir beaucoup d’espace pour soi. La chambre (grande aussi !) était isolée à l’étage avec une SDB et un WC quasi privés. Les propriétaires sont adorables, nous nous sommes sentis très à l’aise. Ils nous ont permis d’utiliser la machine à laver, le fil à linge et le sèche-linge… Il y a une place de parking privée si vous avez un véhicule et le wifi est très rapide. Si nous devions revenir à Auckland, c’est ici et nul par ailleurs que nous irions ! Merci pour tout ! 🙏🏻
