a well appointed, clean, comfortable, light, bright and airy home away from home

light, bright and airy, great outdoor deck. we had everything we needed for our 5 day stay for 4 adults and a 4 year old. We communicated easily with Wendy, she was very responsive, opened the garage to allow us to use the laundry facilities and even provided some fruit, avocados, milk and bread on arrival.

parking is via visitor spaces that are first come first serve basis, so if it’s taken you have to park further away on the street. the jack and jill bathroom needs another lock on the door to the bedroom to keep the bathroom private.

It was a great stay.

I just thought it was a very nice unit, clean, tidy and close to the event we stayed in Auckland for at Eden park. The food and fruit options gave plenty of choices which we enjoyed.

A dream home away from home

We had a fantastic stay at Wendy’s place! Wendy is an incredibly kind host, and she went above and beyond by preparing bread and biscuits for our kids, which they absolutely loved. She also shared some excellent recommendations for places to visit, which made our trip even more enjoyable. The self-check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, making our arrival stress-free. The house itself is beautifully decorated, though I must admit I was a bit worried that my sons might accidentally break something. It truly felt like home, and not just any home, but our dream home. The location is perfect—very convenient for exploring the area. We could easily walk to St. Lukes Mall, and it’s also close to Western Springs and MOTAT, which are great places to visit. Overall, Wendy’s place provided us with a wonderful, memorable stay, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming home away from home.

Perfect!!! So convenient and felt central to everything, from the Zoo to Rainbows End. We’ve stayed at 6 seperate Air B&Bs in the last 6 months and this is by far the best. Clean and tidy place decorated to suit the Xmas season and our children. Breakfast foods were included plus kitchen full with everything needed re cooking. Beds were comfortable with plenty of extra bedding. Our stay was through Dec and we sound the place to be very warm with plenty of ventilation.

Really no negatives but just things to consider. Close to neighbours - but it’s so quiet you wouldn’t even know they were there! No allocated parking - however arriving back before 8pm will allow you to get a park right outside your door! The host, Wendy is also VERY helpful and accomodating to this.

Wendy was amazing, after we were stranded in Auckland due to flight cancellations, she allowed us to check in early and check out late. Her townhouse was amazing and enough room for 4 people. Close to a local Westfield shopping mall and the kitchen was fully equipped to make some basic meals. Wendy is so friendly and an amazing host.

Stay in St Lukes

Great location tho the mall and very warm and spacious living areas. Modern, clean and tidy. Off street parking was a plus. Very well looked after property.

Not suited to people who don’t like stairs but my family didn’t mind. Bathroom and toilet on the top floor.

Excellent - loved our stay.

Location was excellent. Short drive to reach motorway, centre of city, harbour bridge, waterfront and St Lukes Mall. Loaf of bread and other food items provided, which was greatly appreciated. Internal garage was kept clear by owner so that we did not have to find somewhere else to park - a welcome bonus.

Dishwasher was very noisey. Not enough teaspoons, also there was no paring knife - lots of bigger knives, but the inclusion of a smaller knife for slicing fruit or other items would be great.

The advertisement on booking . Com of a buffet breakfast was grossly overstated. There were a limited range of breakfast items like toast and cereal. But we chose to get our own as nothing was to our taste. Luckily countdown was in walking distance. The wording needs to be changed.

We really like the apartment but the owner need to allow people to enjoy staying at her apartment.

The accommodation was good but we didn't use the garage to park our vehicle. I would have loved to have access to the garage, vacuum and washing machine early on our stay so we can park our vehicle, clean up daily and wash the towels so we can keep it fresh.

We picked Wendy because the apartment looks genuinely nice, and the apartment is good. I work for the Queensland Police PCYC (Police Citizen Youth Club) in Logan Brisbane Australia and will never jeopardize any place that I stay. I did not know that Wendy is living with us in the room downstairs through the garage into a studio room on the ground floor, we can hear her coming in and out of the apartment. I think Wendy was there to look after our stay. I wish that she would have told me, I would have no problem with her staying with us, however she kept saying that she was out of Auckland and staying somewhere else. Day 1 and 2, Wendy told me that the house's cameras is link to the NZ police station because of COIVD-19 NZ restriction, and that NZ police is keeping an eye on us. I called NZ Immigration and NZ police, and both said that we have no problem because we have no COVID-19 symptom. Friday 21, I was sleeping upstairs Wendy came into the apartment and woke me up to tell me that the NZ Police and the neighbour has made a complaint against us the cameras in the house is link to the police station they see people sleeping in the lounge and that we are laughing loud outside. Sunday morning, 23 May 2021 we woke up to find our vehicle missing. We called the NZ Auckland Police to report it missing. NZ police then told us where our vehicle is kept (Supercity Towing holding yard). The police told us that a lady from our apartment call the supercity towing company to tow our vehicle because it was blocking our own apartment garage, supercity towing confirmed the report to the NZ Auckland Police. The police are still investigating this case, why the lady from our apartment called the towing company when she is not living there, we paid $320.00 to the towing company to release our vehicle. I hope Wendy will turn off the cameras when other people visit or use her apartment. I hope that she would not sell our private information to anyone.

Auckland Luxury Stay at...Wendy's

The whole house, beautiful soft carpet under my feet, oven, washing machine and dryer, free internet, good location for the Shopping Malls, Wendy really made us feel at home.

Absolutely loved it, Wendy is the best Host I've ever met and I've stayed at alot of motel hotels. I really felt at home and the kids loved it. We definitely will only be going to Wendy's when we in Auckland again. We spent five days there and I'm home in Nelson and I already miss the comfort and warm home and Wendy's lovely smile. Thank you so much Wendy. All the best.
