The location was excellent. The facilities were good. The street was quiet and safe.
The door to room 3 could be pushed open even when locked. No instructions were given for the digital room lock. There was no security light at the front door to see the code for the front door key. I personally did not like fumbling around to unlock the front door key security box every time. I would prefer to have my own front door key. I would prefer to have a mechanical door lock on the room and my own personal key. There were many lights not working in the kitchen. It would've been nice to have a quality water filter to extract the chemicals etc from town water. The dining table seats are uncomfortable, as they have a hard front edge that digs into the back of your legs.

The location was amazing, stunning view of Auckland harbour, bed comfortable- nothing provided except towels, not even soap, bathroom, fan didn’t work, ceiling peeling, deck needed painting. Then there was the fact that to get a hot drink you had to go down to the house kitchen, both morning and evening was occupied by a family member, no breakfast of any kind provided either.
IN MY OPINION THIS PROPERTY SHOULD NOT BE DESCRIBED AS ‘LUXURY’ !!

"Great views over water, moonrise and sunrise. Quiet area, lots of natvie birdsong, Decks with seating a'd tables outside to enjoy views. Free parking in drive or on roadside close by. Lovely big room...."
