Beautiful quiet property with welcoming hosts

Beautiful property, lovely and quiet. It has the best stocked kitchen of anywhere I’ve stayed. My host Mai was warm and friendly and gave me some information about the history of the home when settling me in on arrival.

Only thing to consider if you’re sensitive to heat like me and visiting in summer is there is no air con.

Didn't stay - only place in 50 years of travelling that we walked out of.

Location was good

Misleading front page on booking.com stating private bathrooms. Only as single shared shower present. Bathroom had a toilet and there was a single separate toilet. A long walk from the most expensive room (that we booked). Shared bathroom also was old. I knew that the house was old, but wasn't expecting the facilities to be old too. Had trouble breathing in the place, something in the air irritated my lungs. Not experienced this before at a "hotel". Other reviews certainly didn't lead me to expect what we found.

It's like going back in time but with everything good thing from today. Enjoy the time-travelling!

The people, Monica and Mai, are charming and very genrous. We were their very first guests and they couldn't do enough. We never get everything right when we start something new but we know they want to learn. So, if there is anything 'not quite right', please be constructive and this wonderful place will keep getting better.

We like everything. We gave some comments on what we think can easily be done to make stays more comfortable and I'm sure next time we come these are lots of other things will have been done.
