It was wonderful to stay somewhere so historic. It was like sleeping in a museum. The architecture and decorations were beautiful. I took loads of photos of the ornate interior. It felt special to be there.
We knew that we would be sharing a bathroom. It all went smoothly. We were able to access the bathroom when we needed to.

Fabulous house - lots of history.
Another duvet or blankets in the upstairs bedroom would have been useful, as it did get quite chilly during the early hours.
Downstairs' bedroom must have been a smoking room and it did smell quite strongly of stale cigarettes.
