Blankets were comfortable thats about it.

When we arrived there was 2x less then a quarter toilet paper rolls. Both were only enough to go toilet once for 1 person. I knocked on her door and asked if we could have atleast one roll she said no thats more then enough i couldnt believe it. Place was too hot. Really uncomfortable. House felt like a sauna. We were sitting outside with the outdoor light on and someone kept turning it off but clearly saw us outside. I wouldnt recommend and will not book again. Says not to eat in the room but the people that stay downstairs do. Bed was squeeky no hot water at all.

A perfect place for the price

The accommodation was very clean and spacious, and the host’s thoughtful care made our stay extremely comfortable. It’s absolutely perfect for the price!

I never go there again

The room was clean and nice, and the bathroom was clean too.

It was cold, and I asked the owner for a heater to warm the room, but she said they don't have the heater. I could use a blanket to warm up, and she mentioned I get a lot of discounts from booking.com. It was really cold that night, and I got a cold, and I couldn't go to work the next day.

Noisy

It was very clean

The noise was impossible l had to nock on other residents door twice had to ask owners to intervene which they did reluctantly people clambering about in the kitchen at 9:30 approxametly at night talking loudly l had an overnight flight the night before and just wanted some sleep l think that if one is looking just for rest and peace and quiet this is not the place l only stayed one night made other arrangements for the other.

Wonderful stay!

The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming—truly lovely people. Check-in was very easy and smooth. The suite was spacious, everything was brand new and spotlessly clean. There was plenty of room to organize our luggage and clothes. The bathroom had both a shower and a bathtub (though we didn’t end up using the tub). The house is large, with six rooms, and the host lives in one of them—which was not an issue at all and actually made communication easier. The Wi-Fi was excellent, and the location was great too—just a short drive from the main tourist attractions. We were able to park right in front of the house without any issues. I highly recommend this guest house!

The common areas were a bit messy at times, but it wasn’t really a problem for us since we spent most of our time in our room, which was excellent. Some of the kitchen utensils weren’t very clean—likely due to multiple guests using them—but it didn’t affect our stay. I still definitely recommend this place!

It was a nice property. Host is very welcoming. Near to motorway and property was near to the places we wanted to visit. Comfortable stay.

Amazing value and easy to ferry into Auckland

New home set up with multiple one bedroom, closet and private bath ares in the home. We shared table, kitchen and very nice laundry. Ferry is 5 minutes drive away and the 25 min ferry ride (14$ usd each way) was a fun treat to see the Auckland skyline.

One family of 4 was staying long-term and their food and some boxes are beginning to overflow into common living areas. Not a big deal, but the boxes make the spotless house look less organized.
