There was no lock on the door so our possessions were at risk , there was no tv , no microwave , fridge was outside in a shed , no towels just strange little material things which did not get changed , noise from upstairs was unbearable , no where safe to park my vehicle , very dodgy steps and long path to the unit I’m elderly and had issues with that , one power point which is nowhere near the bed - I had to go and buy a extension cord and multi plug . I complained the owner offered a $20 refund which doesn’t even cover the cost of the extension cord and multi plug , they told booking.com I should have come and spoken to them about the issues - the last thing I want on Christmas is conflict and arguments - you as a person booking out your property should make sure your property is up to standard not wait for someone to come to you with issues. Very disappointing on the property owners behalf - I will be taking this further than booking.com to get further resolution. Your property is not up to standard.

Was okay if you were staying at the beach, it was overpriced.

A good quiet location & own private bathroom.Lovely rose garden at paved entrance.

No TV or bedside lamps for reading.Steep steps down to the unit ( okay for younger people) The bed linen didn't seem to be really clean & fresh & the double bed was a little lopsided getting into.No area where you could sit outside.The kitchen was in a shed outside but well equipped & clean with microwave & fridge.

Handy location to where we were visiting friends.

The walkway was not like the pictures. Steps were dangerously steep. Kitchen not being attached was an inconvenience. Both beds were uncomfortable. Access to power points limited. Bathroom not clean and the shower is hard to get in and out of.

It was bit weird you had to go outside to use the jug. It was freezing outside so i just didnt use the jug. The room was freezing on arrival, a nice touch would be to heat the room in winter before the guests arrive

We cut short our stay, we booked and Paid for 3 nights but only managed 2 sleepless nights....

Location was close to Swanson, Lincoln Road Henderson.

1) Street Parking only (Had to park on sidewalk) 2) Access to the property (path) dangerous. 3) Queen bed mattress very uncomfortable. I'm 96kgs and my partner 58kgs we both could not sleep on this beds as the springs in the mattress dug deep. Luckily there was a single bed that we could top and tailed, but not the ideal way to sleep (cramped and feet in face). Slept in the arm chair on the second night which gave my partner a goods night sleep. A new mattress would change the experience as the rest of the room ,shower and toilet and storage area was clean and comfortable. A small TV on the wall would have been nice.

It was absolutely awesome.

We went down for Aotearoa Bowls tournament which the main venue was over in Te Atatu Peninsula. This bedroom was so economical in terms of distance. The fact that there was a little kitchette in a shed was awesome as well!

Very grateful to have a roof over our head, and nice spacious room, and beds. The shower was a welcomed pleasure after two searing days of sun!
