Lovely comfortable apartment in a great location in Torbay

Cooking facilities could be improved but that didn’t concern us too much as we spent a lot of time with family nearby

Disappointing !! Very hot place and a rude owner. Not recommended!!

The location is good.

Some negative points: they don’t provide milk in the fridge, neither shampoo or conditioner, which is pretty basic for accommodations nowadays. Most importantly, the place is terribly hot (summer) . There is no air conditioning, only a fan, which doesn’t help much. So, you have to sleep with the windows fully open just to tolerate the temperature. Communication with the owner was not easy. When I asked about the checkout time, she replied rather impolitely about the check-in instead. I informed her 2 days in advance that we were 4 guests, but she never read it. Finally, the photos are misleading, as the apartment with a balcony does not actually have any ocean view.

We loved staying here as it was so close to beaches and the accomodation was above average.This pks.

No breakfast wasn’t included so not applicable but the lovely little treats eg milk, water, beautiful King bed, clean linen, beautiful towels. Everything was 100 💯 We would definitely recommend and come back here again 100 💯 we loved it, great hosts! Communication was excellent with owner. Bed was King Size and very comfortable. Sheets, towels, pillows and amenities were well above expectations. Found parking easy on the road and lovely owner gave us the option of parking by the apartment. Perfect holiday accommodation. Thanks For your wonderful hospitality ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Close to our Torbay family, clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. Nicky was a friendly and welcoming hostess. Loved the dogs.

Could have been better.

The location was great. Easy access to beach and shops. Not too loud. The one bedroom was good. Had a heater to keep warm. Big bathroom and had a washing machine and dryer to use.

When we first entered the property the host wasn't there. Had to ring to find out how to get in. The sofa bed was uncomfortable. It had a bar running the length of it, which was painful to sleep on. Some areas didn't look to clean and there was mold in the freezer. The coffee and sugar provided looked old and well used. Had to park quite a distance away from house.

Ladies retreat

Clean and spacious. Lovely modern furniture, kitchen and crockery. King size bed in bedroom, very soft and comfortable. Lovely and warm. Nice shower. Great location, 5 mins walk to the lovely Waiake beach and 5 mins drive to Brown Bay, Torbay and Long Bay shops and restaurants.

Sofa bed in lounge wasn’t comfortable for adults, kids would be fine :). Photos on booking site were not indicative of unit. Outside space pics was obviously taken from main owners house upstairs, not part of the unit. Only soap provided, no “toiletries” as stated. (No shampoo). Coffee jar was almost empty. No milk provided. Tv is very small. Could of done with more towels and tea towels/hand towels. Purchased own kitchen sponge, as none provided. One or two big dogs running around and barking upstairs in the night.

Very friendly hostess including her lovely daughter and son. Loved the visits by the cat. Liked the privacy and close proximity to the beach. Loved the spacious unit with everything one needed and more.
