    Excellent all round. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Good food and atmosphere and a nice room. Enjoyed our stay.

    The staff are lovely and very helpful. However I think they’re under staffed as waited over an hour for evening meal after ordering. Beds are very comfy and clean. No hairdryers in room but generous supply of tea, coffee, biscuits and water.

    For the money I was expecting a bit more. Room was okay, clean but dated. The pub was good, nice bar, nice selection of beers. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Disappointed that when I came down for breakfast there was no chef so no English breakfast, apparently had a shortage of chefs. A miscommunication meant that I had to go elsewhere for an evening meal, the menu did seem good though. Even with the issues I feel I would recommend the pub. It has its own charm and the staff were really good……. except the breakfast chef as he wasn’t there!

    Issues with booking system. We were told we had cancelled twice, then asked to pay 3 times during our stay which was not great. Room nicely decorated and clean but dual aspect meant it was hot+++ even with a fan. Room directly on to road and it's is a surprisingly busy road with heavy traffic of lorries. Only continental breakfast included in room rate and cooked breakfast expensive to add on.
