Great location close to many walks and coastal towns

Great atmosphere in pub and very good food. Continental breakfast included but a paid cooked breakfast option is available

Unfortunately the satellite tv wasn’t working and the weather was awful so we were a bit stuck for entertainment unless we wanted to head for the bar

A very wet night in Otterton

The continental breakfast was excellent, just what was needed. We had a problem with the radiator in the room that we were first allocated, it was barely lukewarm and the room was cold. After reporting this to the staff, we were given another room which was fine. The evening meal was very good.

If we'd walked into a warm bedroom I would have given a higher mark.

It was cold. The pub has a real fire, and on a winter evening you would expect this to be light. The room was also cold & the bathroom was in need of some maintenance & repair.

Very friendly staff and good menu. Well stocked pub bar. Plenty of parking. Good continental breakfast choices.

Both soap dispensers in tiny bathroom were empty and no bulb in light above basin. Need a shelf for your stuff. Room was cold until I turned on radiator.

Good shower

Breakfast good continental selection but had to request cups and plates. Room to hot, beds very uncomfortable single could feel all the springs. Woken early by beer kegs being moved around directly under window. No WiFi connection even with password

A lovely, festive couple of days

Friendly staff, great breakfast, clean rooms. There was a mis communication over evening meal times but the kitchen staff were kind enough to stay open and feed us which was such a relief as we had a hungry child and no where else was open at 6.30pm on 26th December! :)

We stayed over Christmas and our family room was v cold on arrival - the main radiator wasn’t working. There was a small heater which helped warm things up but it took a while. Also, the mattresses were very tired and soggy - my fussy back prefers a firmer option.

Enjoyable stay, comfortable and good atmosphere with good staff.

Convenient location and parking, very good, friendly staff and pub atmosphere, comfortable, if small, room, good food at reasonable prices in the bar.

The room was a little small for a double room but comfortable. The shower took quite a while and lots of water wasted before it warmed up. Some ham and cheese would have been nice with the included continental breakfast which had just cereals, toast and croissants plus tea, coffee, juice and yogurt.

An extremely warm welcome, polite and very helpful staff. Delicious food, very reasonable prices. Comfortable room. Lovely breakfast. All together a really nice stay. The funeral wake was excellent too.

The only thing and I think it only happened because there was a pool tournament, was the noise when everyone was leaving and chatting out side. I was in room 10 and it was noisy. After they left it was fine.

The room was lovely, plenty of room for the three of us and two dogs.

The room was over the kitchen, which had a fan going .This gave a continuous hum, which my dad found difficult to sleep with.

Perfect spot for a short stay in the area.

Good location for walking the coast path, lovely big and very clean room and excellent facilities. Lovely spread at breakfast and very good croissants.

The continental breakfast and the dinner meals were of a good standard. Rooms were as expected; excellent kingsize and super kingsize rooms. Super friendly and helpful staff.

The rooms on the car park side were subjected to customers chatting etc until very late in the evening - windows had to be shut even though it was sweltering!

We had a great time at the "Kings Arms"

The rooms are on the first floor of a restaurant/Pub. We liked that a lot, because the evenings were always entertaining (like quiz night) and it was always crowded. The food was excellent and the waiter/waitress very friendly. We had a good parking spot in front of the Pub.

I probably didn't pay enough attention to the description of the room. We weren't aware of the small size of the room. Therefore was the bed a little smaller too. We are two tall people. Our room showed to the side of the road and the entrance of the pub. It was a little loud in the evening when everybody headed out of the pub and in the morning when the traffic went through. Next time I will book a larger room which shows to the back.

The room was comfortable and clean, good for the price. Buffet breakfast included which was nice and very sufficient. Cooked options of breakfast available at extra cost, but not required. Had dinner which was nice and good value. Local fish and meat dishes available on menu. All the staff friendly and helpful.

Lovely pub in a lovely village.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was nice. Otterton seemed lovely.

It was a very warm room. The fan provided was really efficient but I didn't want to leave it running all night and wanted to open the window but the guests outside were a bit noisy. That said, it's to be expected when staying at a pub so it's not a complaint.

Lovely stay, comfy beds, would stay again.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, it was brilliant that we could have our dog stay in the room with us. The beds were very comfortable and so were the pillows.

It was noisy in the room in the afternoon and early evening as it was a warm day so windows were open and lots of people were outside in the garden, however once the pub was shut obviously it was then quiet. Room was comfortable but could do with a chair in the room to sit on.
