This was our 3rd stay at the Haymakers and we were delighted to be there again. A pleasant room with a comfortable bed and good shower. Friendly helpful staff and an excellent breakfast. We also enjoyed a lovely evening meal, it's a popular pub so it's best to book a table. For us it's the perfect stay on our way to Cornwall.

Location is lovely as in the countryside. The Haymaker has a lot of history dating back to 18th century The lunch/evening menu is traditional with some homemade meals and their desserts are mostly homemade. The breakfast was good. Our ensuite double room was clean, towels/bedding were of good quality. Also in the room was a kettle with tea/coffee/biscuits and lovely decorative cups/drinking glasses and a good size TV.
The Haymaker Inn has only four rooms for their guests and they are all located on the upper floor reached only by stairs and therefore would not be suitable if you have mobility issues. We found our ensuite with walk in shower, in need of updating and the tiles have issues with mouldy grouting. There was no towel rail or grab rail and only one small glass shelf above the sink.
