The Lawns B & B

Lovely breakfast. Delicious fresh fruit salad and Greek yogurt. Toast, jams, cheeses and boiled egg perfectly cooked. Tea, coffee, water and juice. Perfectly adequate at the start of the day.

Everything was perfect

The room was of an exceptionally high standard . Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean and spacious . Sarah and Alex were first class hosts . Garden was relaxing and aesthetically pleasing.

There wasn’t anything to dislike .

Spacious room. Very nice house. Alex was very helpful with our several suitcases. Nothing was too much trouble.

We were a bit disappointed with the breakfast.Maybe our expectations were unrealistic but previous B&B stays in Devon included a good cooked breakfast. Pastries, fruit and a single boiled egg didn’t really meet what we had hoped for.

I enjoyed the breakfast which wasn't too heavy it was just the right amount of food with several choices including fruit juices croissant cereals cheeses boiled egg etc. I particularly like the flexible attitude to the time I wanted to eat breakfast. The location was excellent as it was but a short walk into the town and also not too far from some friends of mine who live in the village. It will also be a good base for me when I do further work in the area which I anticipate being in the not too distant future And I will certainly look To trying to book this B and B again.
