Stone Store Lodge was a little piece of heaven set into a beautiful forest, but with the convenience of the Plough & Feather pub and The Stone Store (New Zealand’s oldest building) only a 10min walk away. It’s also very close to the beautiful rainbow falls and the township of Kerikeri itself. The shared space is large (we were fortunate to have the whole space to ourselves) and the fridge was stocked with provisions for breakfast.

The self serve breakfast was more than adequate and the location/environment excellent
Suggest a grabrail in the shower -I have found that shower floors can be very slippery in most establishments.

Location was excellent - a very tranquil setting and close to everything, airport, shops and tourist destinatlons. Breakfast facilities were very good with everything we needed provided for a 'healthy start' to the day. Did have to ask for low fat milk, but that was provided prompty on request. Loved the sitting room area, with log fire - very cosy and comfortable. Met some very nice fellow travellers to share a wine with, which was a bonus!
I did find the best too soft for my liking, not great support. Need it as we get older! Also bedding, whilst clean, could have been better quality - and probably pressed!
