An absolutely perfect stay in every way—exceptional location, spotless comfort, heartfelt hospitality, and truly thought

I would like to give this accommodation the highest possible rating. Its location, cleanliness, and overall hospitality are truly perfect. What impressed me most is the dedicated accessible room for guests with limited mobility. The thoughtful details are genuinely moving—not only are there handrails in the shower and bathroom, but they also provide a non-slip shower seat and mat. The care and attention to detail go beyond expectations. If a score higher than five were possible, this place would absolutely deserve it.

An ideal spot to stay while enjoying Kerikeri.

We stayed five nights at Kerikeri Park Lodge, which is ideally located close to the town centre. The Old Packhouse Café is just a short walk away, along with the Friday night Street Food Market and the Saturday and Sunday markets. We had connecting rooms, both of which were spacious, clean, and well appointed. The kitchens were fully equipped and included a good selection of teas and coffee. The large bathrooms featured showers and complimentary toiletries such as shampoo, body wash, moisturiser, and towels. Despite having many guests coming and going during our stay, the property was very quiet and peaceful. JL, the proprietor, was extremely welcoming on arrival and made a genuine effort to learn our names. Whenever he saw us, he would stop to say hello and check how our stay was going. Kerikeri Park Lodge is also well positioned for exploring the wider region, including Cape Reinga, Paihia, Waitangi, Russell, Whangārei, the Hokianga Harbour towns, and Waipu. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kerikeri Park Lodge.

Maybe a couple of hooks on the back of the bathrooms door to hang bathrobes.

Sheets were little bit dirty stained and bed to soft. Shower plug was broken stains on carpet floor wifi didn't work but was fixed quickly.

Always a fantastic stay here. We were able to travel with only 2 bags despite having a young baby!

The room has everything we needed and more. Everything you could need when traveling is provided. A cot for our toddler was also provided which saved us the hassle of bringing our own.

Perfect for our 1-night stay.

The location was perfect for where we needed to be the next day. The welcome staff Renee (not sure whether this is spelt correctly) was great. The setting was beautiful, the room was very comfortable. The heat pump was very much welcomed.

Having a rugby field of lawn in front of the lodge has its downside. Check when they plan to mow it!

The location was great for what we wanted to do and we loved being able to walk across the road for dinner and the markets the following morning.

We didn't appreciate the field in front of our room being mowed. We wanted to sit on the deck and enjoy our surroundings but this was not possible because of the noise. This continued for a couple of hours and was followed by leaf blowing to get the grass off the paths. Not ideal and disappointing since we chose the place for its quiet tranquil setting as per the reviews.

It was a spacious set up, well set up and very tastefully presented. Modern, clean and everything we needed was within the room. The view was a lovely lawn lined with trees, and the room came with a balcony to enjoy the view from.

The bed could have been a little more comfy and the pillows were a little flat.

Always like staying here.

We have stayed here twice before, this time we had a Deluxe studio. The room was a good size with a large comfortable bed. The kitchen was adequate although we did not try to cook anything. The location is quiet with the small balcony overlooking a large lawned area. We were due to fly out of Auckland the day Hurricane Gabrielle was due to hit so we decided to leave a day early and find somewhere to stay closer to the airport. The manager tried to find us a room in a "sister" motel so we would only have to pay the difference in price for the room but unfortunately none were available. We were grateful for his efforts.
