We had a lovely stay & would definitely come back again.

The breakfast on the whole was pretty good. It was just a shame the poached eggs were overcooked. The evening meal was amazing & I'd definitely recommend it to others.

It was a shame that there wasn't any toiletries in the rooms.

Fabulous

My sister and I stayed in a double room and were extremely happy with all aspects of our stay. The hosts Wayne and Teresa could not have been more accommodating and helpful! There is ample parking outside a lovely enclosed gravel courtyard leading to beautiful, clean and cozy rooms. The pub at the front provides great food (extremely generous portions) and on Saturday night was filled with cheery, friendly locals enjoying hearty food and a drink. If we are staying in the area again we wouldn't consider anywhere else! Thank-you! xx

Warming, welcoming and very clean. Parking was super close to the accommodation!

Very cosy place with a friendly and welcoming staff. Once arriving there was no delay in getting me my key immediately. They were very willing to keep the pub open for a bit longer while we have a drink even though we arrived quite late, around 10pm. Would recommend!

From the first encounter and welcome to the checking out, we felt like family and were very well looked after, fed and refreshed. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was out of this world. I have already recommended the restaurant to friends who are passing through, and we will definitely stay there again.

Nice overnight stay

The family room was well laid out and a good size for 4 people for 1 night. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food for our evening meal and breakfast was nicely cooked and good portions.

The bathroom, although clean, needed a bit of tlc to bring it in line with the standard of the bedroom and the bedroom could do with some blackout curtains.

The staff were very polite and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent. The room was clean, well set out and comfy.

The walls in the rooms are a little thin meaning you could clearly hear movements, the toilet flushing in the adjacent room etc. Needed earplugs to sleep.

The family room we was staying in was perfect around the family’s requirements and comfortable beds. Spacious room and had what was described on the description and facilities of the room. In a nice enclosed area so we wasn’t inside the pub itself but we could definitely tell it is a popular pub and I could see why. We didn’t hear or see any nuisance, which was definitely a bonus!

Disappointing - room was very hot - radiator was on in mid July!

I was told when I checked in that breakfast was from 8:30 but on Sunday morning breakfast didn't start until 9:00 and we had to leave before so no breakfast!

Food was very good varied menu good quality and quantity Breakfast was not included and choice is from a menu which had everything but every individual item priced Not like sitting down to an English breakfast of cereal cooked breakfast tea coffee fruit juice although it was all available However our choices were delicious

We had a problem with TV which they tried to help us solve but without success and one laptop would only work in the main building but iPads and phones worked successfully in room

Very friendly and welcoming busy pub with chalet type rooms which were clean and comfortable with nice modern bathrooms. Very good value for money.

The menu was new and not what I had seen online when we booked. The choice was very heavily burgers and pizzas with some vegetarian options. This would not be a problem for most people I suppose but we are an elderly couple not really into this type of food, so had very little choice.

Asked to pay for the rooms we had already paid for not once but twice. Had to prove by receipts and banking app we had paid. Ruined a reason trip. We had three separate rooms .

Lovely place to stay with amazing food

We stayed as a group of 8 people and the staff couldn't do enough for us. The food is amazing and if you like big portions you will not be disappointed! Very reasonably priced too. All in all it was the perfect place for a night away. Rooms are great, beer garden is great, beer selection is great, food is great, prices are great, staff are great.
