Loved the setting and the full English breakfast was amazing. My husband used to be a fine dining chef and said one of the best breakfasts he's ever had! The evening food smelled lovely and the restaurant was pretty full so not bad for a Wednesday night.
We attended a funeral in Wales so was half way home and arrived at 8.15pm unfortunately the kitchen stopped serving at 8pm and we were starving and no other outlets near by serving food, so peanuts for dinner and then devoured breakfast the following morning. I would've paid a supplement for a river view room if known. Floor was wooden and very squeaky.

Fantastic view, good pub with excellent food (especially breakfast) and friendly staff. Room was fresh and clean.

The staff were very friendly and efficient . The quality of the breakfast was very good. Excellent service.
The room was very basic. Beds not comfortable. The room was very hot. Bathroom could do with cleaning around the edges of wall and floor. So called balcony facing overgrowth was full of spiders webs and dust.
