Lovely location and friendly staff, made to feel welcome. Old character property with plenty of charm. Peaceful and quiet.
Found a pair of dirty knickers from a previous guest in the chest of drawers. Mattress was quite old / worn out so was less comfy.

It was cosy and in a great location. The staff were welcoming, friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. The breakfast cooked by Simon was probably the best we’ve ever had. We did have dinner one evening and this was also delicious!
There wasn’t a wardrobe in the room or a table for the tea and coffee but we were told beforehand that our room was small. It overlooked a roof which needed repair but these didn’t affect our lovely stay.

Very handy location next to the A40 (Ross on Wye and Symonds Yat) but also very quiet. Evening meal was very good quality and good value. Very pleasant location.
Breakfast not available until 9am was too late for 'work related' visits. If breakfast could be available from 8:30am, this would fit in better for those staying for work. Check-in not until 4:30pm was slightly inconvenient. General assumption these days that 3pm-3:30pm checking would be available.
