This has to be one of the best places I've stayed in the UK.
The interiors were so comfy and warm, beautifully decorated, and attention to detail.
Lots of information in the lounge area for where to visit locally and walking routes, which we really appreciated.
Breakfast was plentiful and clearly higher welfare meat and eggs.
The owners/hosts were so welcoming, generous, and helpful.
It really felt like a home away from home.
Nothing - only that we had to leave!

The accommodation was truly lovely — the room was spacious, very clean, and beautifully decorated with artistic touches that made it feel warm and inviting. The bed was comfortable, and the overall setting was peaceful and relaxing.
That said, the property itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and offers a high level of comfort.
There were, however, a couple of moments that felt a little uncomfortable. When we requested a toilet paper refill on the second day, the response was unexpectedly dismissive, with a remark about the amount already provided — which felt unnecessary. During breakfast, there seemed to be some discomfort from the host when we left a portion of the meal (specifically the roasted mushrooms), as it didn’t quite suit our taste. A comment was made questioning how, after living in the UK for five years, we still couldn't enjoy a traditional British breakfast — which came across as unkind and unnecessarily judgmental.
It would be wonderful to see a more open and respectful attitude toward guests of different races, cultures, and food preferences. A genuinely welcoming approach can go a long way in making all guests feel comfortable and valued.
