Nice hotel - will return

I have stayed here a few times before and always find that this hotel is great. Car park is well lit and outside the front door. Staff are lovely and the room was warm, clean and everything worked.

Happy, Helpful staff

We stayed for 4 nights. Lovely room and hotel. We particularly like the pool. The breakfast was very good. Staff very happy and helpful.

Room was very hot even with no heating on. But I asked for a fan at reception at they had one. Hairdryer waste of space. But they found me a real one at reception. Window could do with curtains instead of or with roller blind.

Cheap stay for weekend.

The pool and facilities were fantastic

We had family room 104 , the children room was lovely, not much storage for clothes , the adult room…. The bed was small and very uncomfortable. No storage for clothes at all. Could do with a new mattress and clothes storage. The corner shower was so tiny I had to leave the door open and there was black mould in the shower.

Good enough to use as a base for exploring.

Good position for getting around and walking distance to Fistral beach.

£10 a night for parking which didn’t guarantee you a space. Our room was ok but a little tired looking with cracks in the bathroom cabinets and chips in the bedroom wall paint. There was a coffee stain on the wall.

I dropped the remote down the side of the bad so pushed the bed out and there was tissues and dust build up on the carpet. everything else was great.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff and great location.

Not impressed with hotels on booking com who say they have parking and when you get there it's paid parking. Lovely hotel, but the room was really dated and is badly in need of a refurb. It's definitely not £90 per night quality. But it was comfortable and cosy with a nice view. Also the rooms aren't cleaned daily, although the receptionist did say if I ran out of anything I could pop down to reception, but again for the amount of money charged it didn't feel good.

There was a sea view. Swimming pool was nice but it needs upgrading! All facilities down there do. The location wasn’t bad. Food was ok

The shower was far too small. They should have come into the room and changed the towels and bed linen. I reported that the shower door would t close properly and they changed the disabled grip handle in the shower!!!!

The shower plu hole blocked and soaked bathroom dust in room taxis was very un reliable and the prices of alcohol and the paying £138 for the night and then also paying £10 for parking.

Weekend trip

The staff were amazing!!! They let us bring the dogs which was lovely. We had a wonderful meal in the bistro. The steak was wonderful. The buffet in the morning was great!

The room was outdated, and the corridor and rooms were like a greenhouse, SO hot!!! Had to shower myself and the dogs with cold water multiple times in the night so didn’t get much sleep. I thought for the price there would at least be a fan or AC. The electrics were hanging off in the room which meant we were too nervous to charge our phones as it felt unsafe . We had seagulls screatching outside the window from 5am, this is not the hotels fault but meant we left not rested! The eggs were like a hard slab. Felt like it wasn’t worth the money but would stay again if we could get a fan etc because staff were so lovely

Superb staff. Lovely room and onsite restaurant. Excellent location. Bedroom very comfortable. All clean and tidy and communal areas in good condition.

I’d have liked a slightly bigger selection at breakfast - maybe pancakes etc but it’s a tiny thing that didn’t spoil my trip.

A pleasant 3 night break in Newquay

Reception staff very welcoming upon arrival. I used the swimming pool it was a generous size and clean. The Bistro was very accommodating for my dietary needs. Super friendly service. Breakfast was ok not fabulous.

The room was a little smaller than I expected. Large fairly comfortable bed though. No housekeeping unless you requested it. A green light permanently on all night in the bathroom (not so bad when bathroom door was shut). Shaver point to high to charge toothbrush so I had to improvise with a pot under the charger to give it extra height to plug in. No blackout curtains in the room. Huge problem for me. It was so light early in the morning it kept me awake. Seagulls knocking on the window at silly o’clock wasn’t helpful either….

Good location

The pool was good and the location and price were reasonable.

We stayed 3 nights and our room wasn't cleaned, there is no mention of this when booking and we picked a hotel over an AirBnB so we our room would be cleaned as we have two young children. Pool was open until 7:30 even though it isn't supervised at any point so doesn't make any sense. The whole place needs a refresh.

The hotel is perfect for a family stay, the rooms are very spacious, and clean. The staff is amazing, very helpful, and friendly. They were also great with with my dog!! I highly recommend this hotel.
