Amazing place to enjoy my husbands 60th birthday and can’t wait to come back.

We stayed in room 6 and it was amazing and although the weather was awful the view was fantastic. Breakfast was lovely and freshly cooked. All of the staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Will be staying here again definately.

Another great trip

From booking, arrival, all the fabulous hospitality and right up to leaving this morning it's a great experience. We journey down every two months to see family, we can rely on the top class service without fault. Evening, weekend or week, it's a great location for that little extra.

The view, the staff attitude, the ambience, the relaxed feel of living there. The local walks are excellent and the variety of wildlife to be seen is varied.

Not having the toast buttered under the poached egg when particularly requested. The cooked breakfast appeared to be batch prepared and average. The remainder of the breakfast menu was excellent. Having to leave.

Dont waste your time on other hotels in the area - this is the place to stay -

Where do I start - we booked one of the deluxe corner rooms upstairs with panoramic windows overlooking the ocean - absolutely awesome. The hotel is by itself with incredible views and small hikes to the beach - no noise from the city/town. The dinner was excellent and the breakfast was excellent - We were here for our 38th anniversary, and it was above expectations.

Superb location but food questionable.

The location, the bedroom and the staff.

Our room was above the industrial kitchen extractor (room 10). Didn’t stop until 11pm and started again at 7am. The food was overpriced and our selection, was very poor ( prawn cocktail and Caesar salad).

Memorable stay 🩵

Superior ocean suite was beautiful, so spacious spotlessly clean, and the view is amazing, only stayed for one night I did not want to leave. So just going to have to go back 🩵 The staff were all lovely, gorgeous food go visit you will not be disappointed thank you everyone for making our stay so lovely 🤗

Superb Place to Stay and Eat. Stunning View of the Ocean. Lovely Rooms. Very Friendly Staff

This lodge is absolutely stunning. The view from the restaurant and our room was breath taking. The location is superb with plenty of parking and FREE charging for electric vehicles! Our room was stunning with a large picture window looking out over the ocean with Newquay to the right. The bed was huge, bathroom was massive with a bath and walk in shower and WC, twin sinks, lovely large soft towels. We ate in the Restaurant a couple of times in the evening and everyday for breakfast. The staff were very friendly and efficient but this is a popular location so it can get busy at times and there can be a wait for food but with a stunning view, outside areas and a massive bar to enjoy who cares about the wait! Time feels like it moves at a slower pace there, so embrace it and relax. The food was great, good sized portions and good value for money overall. I cant end this review without mentioning Dee on guest services/reception. Dee is an absolute gem, even when it was grey and misty some mornings she brought a ray of sunshine, she was always upbeat and welcoming, always had something positive to say with a great sense of humour and very helpful during our stay. Thank you to all at The Lewinnick Lodge. If we are ever back down in Newquay we would not hesitate in coming back.

some areas need renovation. e.g. chairs in restaurants are full of stains, tables outside are not clean. In the rooms there are no electricity outlets near the sink.
