We had the pleasure of staying with Tony and family on our first trip to Ireland. Across a two week trip and multiple B&B's, we discovered that St. Judes was an elegant family home serving as a truly traditional B&B, where we got to know the lovely family running it. Other B&B's felt more like a business run by random employees - but not theirs! The location gave us a chance to get to know Salthill and the bus to downtown Galway stopped right out front of the B&B , so was also super convenient. We loved chatting with the other guests at breakfast, and from Tony and his daughters we learned that conversations with kind, interesting locals like them, would become our greatest guide to the treasures of Ireland. That family, their place, plus their delicious selection of home-made breakfast, were all truly wonderful and memorable! Honestly, the food and company (not too much and not too little) were the best we found in all of Ireland! Sincerely, Maureen

The bed was super comfortable and the shower was top notch.
