I was actually scared all night

Was really close to the college

First of all the keypad to enter is one thing but its so hard to open the door and twist the knob , as soon as i enterd the smell hit me , the was a smell of urine , the room is tiny , a sink at the end of the bed , carpets where stained and so was the sheets the windows where dirty , im a previous housekeeper i worked in center parcs and in a hotel in tarmonbarry and im fully aware of complaints from people who stay , but never have i ever seen scartches on the bathroom door and scared that i was in a horror movie i contemplate going home so many times but stayed becouse I had college in the morning the flashing of the fire alarm drove me crazy and having to walk across a room just to wash my hand , I spent the night worrying that I was gonna get killed. I will not be staying there again when im in college.

I left after 1.5 hours

Other than the price was right, there was nothing about this property to like. There's no lift. It's above a pub--although the noise didn't seem to reach the room. The doors for the room and bathroom were hard to open and close.

I left after 1.5 hours and requested a refund. The smell was untenable. I have asthma and couldn't stay. There was no lift and he had put me up two flights of stairs. The doors for the bathroom and room were hard to open or close. The sink was in the corner of the room. The bedding didn't look particularly clean.

Great for a 1-2 night stay

I loved that it was so clean, the moment I walked onto the first floor I smelled clean detergent. My room was comfortable, had piping hot water and spotless as well. It’s great for a 1-2 night stay.

I liked mostly everything except that the windows didn’t open much so a fan would have been nice but I wasn’t uncomfortable given the weather was chilly

Fabulous place to stay, friendly staff from day to night.

It was so clean and the staff including the breakfast staff were absolutely lovely. We are definitely planning on staying here again! And the Guinness was lovely too.

location was great for Galway, decent bar with a good range of drinks available.

Very dated, felt very 70s, the bed was very tired and soft, the bathroom was a complete mess, Toilet seat was not fixed to the pan, the hot water in the sink was not in use, the shower was scolding hot no warning signs !!!!! The shower head was loose on the wall and sprayed everywhere except on you !!!!!! The decor very dated and in need of an uplift. the breakfast was overcooked both mornings and was disappointing for the Irish breakfast we came to expect. Overall very disappointed and the price quoted was not the price charged ???????? Needless to say we will not be returning

Well, it was an experience we’ll never forget.

The location near the salthill beach.

The room could use some maintenance. The bathroom was disgusting. Moldy and tiny. Leaky faucet which wasn’t only dripping but pouring water. We asked them to fix it but in our two-day visit nothing was done.

Clean, comfortable bed, waterproof windows and ceiling

Well located in Galway, street parking available but not on a busy day. Breakfast cooked or continental. Some items not available 2 days running. Scrambled eggs and bacon done to perfection, gluten free seed bread available. Excellent perculated coffee. No music to keep the pub clientele happy.

Don't ask for fancy coffees. Noise from guests upstairs not from the beer garden down stairs. Not much room to turn around in your room.

I stayed in Ward's hotel as I was involved in the Galway Cycle, the room was clean and tidy I only needed somewhere to put my head down as we had a very busy weekend,it was nice and quiet too, looking forward to staying there next year

Never advised of flights of stairs.having just had knee surgery ..went for mothers day .no headboard on bed pillow went down .flies in room.and was cold..coffee was terrible..I want a refund please
